Question on operation:

I noticed when getting all 4 drop targets down the first time, the target value then alternates occasionally from 50 points to 100 points with the match unit. On my game, this alternating happens only once per ten steps. I have no schematic for the game. Without pulling the game out and tearing into it, is there a simple liberal-conservative setting for this? I'd like to have this feature occur more often, like 2-3 times per 10 steps.
