This.help...is not how it's done. This is a "looking for an easy something, laziness type of I'm not sure what" type of crap that goes on all to much in this world. Put an Ad up with lots of pics and a crazy high price and the buyers will decide if the price fits, if it doesn't the machine will sit unsold.

Did this sell or is it sitting unsold?

Like I said previously, I am on vacation many miles from home and any dealings have been put on hold to enjoy a much needed break from work and time with my family.
However, yes I am still working with 2 potentially interested parties. One a cash deal and one a potential trade plus cash.
Sorry for the lack of updates. I did get to play some pinball though on the boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, and my wife really liked Dialed In.

Was that the South Beach arcade or North beach arcade. Always get them confused. Just know the one you were at keeps their games in great shape. I visit it every year.

South Beach. Everything played well that I put money in. The WOZ has no GI and I have that at home so no reason to dump any money in it.
My Son loves the BM66 and wants to go back to play more!
Quoted from Bos98:My Son loves the BM66 and wants to go back to play more!
Kids seem to love BM66, Lyman has spent the last 12 months turning it into another one of his coding masterpieces, one of my favourite games ever.
Hasn't sold. I had 2 people who were interested in it while I was on vacation from LetGo. Both no showed today.
Price drop to $5700
Quoted from Bos98:Hopefully this will simplify things. It’s cash and carry.
Cash is not PayPal.
Thanks.
Just curious, why would you update the code right before you’re selling it, especially when you’re touting the <100 play angle? I’m assuming the number of plays audit resets when new code is updated? I’m sure it’s a beauty, but I think an interested buyer would have rather seen the low plays / early code for themselves, they could always update code after purchase.

You can always update code (either forward or backward) and in both cases I believe it resets your total plays. That is why total plays means nothing to me; going to see the physical condition is everything to me! How does it look with my own eyes.

Ok well question was to OP. I mean if you’re that close to selling the pin and you haven’t updated code, why do it when you’ll wipe out the total plays audit? I for one would be interested in seeing the low play amount especially since it’s prominently mentioned in the FS ad.
I guess it really only matters if you are actually interested in buying the game.
I took a pic of the counter prior to updating it. I got it from the original buyer who had no clue how to even open the machine to remove the glass.
You can chose to believe the counter or not. That’s your prerogative. You can come look at the game and see for yourself that it is virtually unplayed.
I updated it because I intended on keeping it and wanted to try out some of the custom 6.0 versions made with more of the actual movie soundtrack.
I played it a few times after the update and I find it too easy and I am trying to move it on before I bring it inside and down to my game room where I run the risk of dinging an otherwise flawless cabinet on either of 2 entry doors.
I figured someone would want this and indeed it has gotten quite a bit of interest but unfortunately nothing concrete.
I’d really like to trade it for a Ghostbusters Premium if possible. I played one quite a bit on vacation and really enjoyed it even though the side to side level was way off and it drained like crazy out of the left kickout.

Not trying to troll here, but I think I read something similar like this from a guy selling an imamaculate Baywatch. It had only 600 plays on it in the last 12 years.

And I am done here. This will be my last comment in this thread.
Either someone wants it or they don’t.
Contact me via PM is you actually have interest in owning a POTC.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I honestly couldn’t care less about anyone’s opinion surrounding this particular machine anymore.
The game can stay in my garage until September and I’ll bring it to the pinball show with the Flintstones I am restoring. If it sells there great. If not I’ll put it in my collection.
-Goodnight

Ok cranky, good luck anyway.

dude, just ship it to one of the people that offered you the full 6k.
Shipping is definitely less headache than this thread appears to have caused you.
$6k plus shipping which is another $400, there’d be 100 Potc immaculate condition ready to ship tomorrow.
Quoted from Bos98:Can you blame a guy for testing the waters on what has been an insane year+ of the market spiking? No, I don’t think you can.
I might have a problem how you came into this deal and why you paid so cheap to the original owner for a quick flip. Did this person really understand the value or didn't care and wanted it out gone. It just sounds to me like taking advantage. Whatever.
63 plays only? Geez, my GotG had more than that in it's first 24 hours out of the box.
63 plays is barely enough to explore the rules.
Good luck with the sale!

Like I mentioned earlier in this thread for that price I will ship anywhere in the US!
I guess I am one of those 100

I agree.
Price is now down to 5300.
I think it’s safe to say that the seller was full of shit about the multiple 6k offers from California.
Quoted from vicjw66:I think it’s safe to say that the seller was full of shit about the multiple 6k offers from California.
Price police all you want. No problem. Pricing is subjective and open to opinions.
Calling me a liar without any proof or real reason to do so is quite infuriating.
As I believe I stated before, I wasn’t interested in shipping before nor am I now. I had a horrific experience shipping a game before and have no interest in attempting it again.
Clearly the JJP POTC has adversely effected the value on this game and I have subsequently adjusted the asking price.
If you are that sure I am full of shit feel free to PM me and I will share screen shots of any of the email conversations with the 2 people in California who expressed a desire to purchase the machine and have me ship it. Other than you being outraged by my price and the subsequent decreases in asking price, the personal attack really isn’t necessary.
I do have a trade offer in the works on it and hopefully everyone currently involved will come out happy!
As a result of this thread I was able to trade some other pins for a Ghostbuster Premium I had been looking for so thank you to everyone who participated here or sent me messages connecting me with other pinsiders trying to be helpful.
Thanks again to everyone who was Helpful! Pirates and some cash is being traded tomorrow for a NIB Star Wars Premium.
Photos of the trade handoff will be taken for all of the naysayers.
Trade is done!
