Just saw this over on KLOV:

I used to sell these clear pinball playfield glasses---all used---at the pinball shows for $5 each. I probably will not be taking up a booth anymore and do not really want to deal with it. NOW, I need to get it out now. There are a little over 60 pieces of glass...tempered and all with a degree of scratches (we put brand new glass on every game we sell)...and in several sizes, although most are the standard size.
Deal is you must take ALL of it...no pick and choose...but the best is that they are FREE!

Obviously pickup only at TNT Amusements 1310 Industrial Highway Southampton PA 18966. We are here late most nights except SUnday we are closed. YOU must load it yourself, but will supply coffee to keep you warm and moving! CALL me first 215-953-1188 ext 0 to tell me you are coming...also you can email me... [email protected] Todd from TNT

Now, to FINALLY build my glass house!

I insist on seeing these thrown off the roof, all at once.

If anyone was looking to build a greenhouse these would work great. But 60 pieces of glass is a lot of weight to move to make a couple dollars a sheet on.

I fully understand why Todd is not going to take a space and sell it for $5 a sheet anymore but it was nice when he did offer it at the shows. I have always had plenty around but it helped a lot of other people not looking to spend $30 a sheet on new glass.

I wondered what 60 pieces of glass might weigh. This page says 14.9 lbs. If that's accurate, we're talking 900 lbs of glass! That's definitely more than I could haul in my car.

Personally, I would think bundles of 5 or 10 would go fairly quickly. But I also understand that Todd probably doesn't want to waste a lot of time with them and fielding calls and arraigning pickups and would rather go the "one and done" route.

    Someone did, glass is gone.
