Quoted from teekee:No doubt... if there's a sixth one that one helluva deal!

any other title and it would be a great deal... shipping 6 pins from Europe might not be as expensive (per pin) as you would think.
Quoted from emsrph:I said Whitewater because it is in his collection. It wasn't a random guess.
Yep. Wondered how you came with that pin. Well done, Sherlock!
guys sorry for the confusion is 5 pins i just corrected it
my apologies was a miss type and never notice
pins are 5 LOL
emsrph -- if i had the whitewater that would be 6 but sold it LOL, probably stuck back of my head and i typed 6 pins
teekee -- booking a 20ft container with shipping will cost €1200 plus you can add more stuff by chance.
so i guess still cheap for the lot.

$300 each pin... not bad. Still a nice deal for someone looking for some of those titles.
The total cost for all 5 machines is 7,200 Euro. The lot is 6,000 Euro and the shipping is 1,200 Euro. If my math is correct, based on Euro to Dollar conversion from Google on 1/16/15, that comes to $8,345.84 USD. If you drop the cents, that is $1,669 USD per machine.
That's a pretty damn good deal for someone looking to keep the games IMHO.
Here is my opinion of the pricing of the games individually.
I would pay $2,100 +/- for a nice Doctor Who. So I'll consider the Doctor +$500.
A nice Demolition man would run me $1,800-$2,000. So I'll call that a savings of +$200.
My personal top end for Star Trek Next Generation is roughly $3,500. So I'll get a huge boost of +$1900.
I think Judge Dread is worth $1,600-$1,700 in great condition. So I'l call that even.
Striker Extreme is worth around $1,100 to me in great condition. So with a loss of -$600 USD, it is the weakest game in the lot.
So for me, that would mean a $2,000 savings if I bought this collection.
So in my eyes, the cost would cover a trip to Europe to go check out these games in person. Or maybe even another game in the future.
If you have the stomach for container shipping, this could be the deal for you.
Good luck with your sale!
Marcus
As i was dealing with motorcycles, I am sure someone can book a container from their Side via an agent's office to Limassol Port (Cyprus). Then can handle the transport and packing of the pins in the container always with the buyer contact to ensure safe packing. Followed by detailed photos and step by step description of the process so that the buyer is happy with the procedure. Problem is that someone have to trust me that the pins are in working condition and/or have a pre order procedure of detailed description of each pin's condition. with videos and photos.
Second schenario will be that somone can book a ticket here to Cyprus. And we can do the process together, see the pins and be happy from day 1. I would say including his ticket for summer vacations. that would still be a bargain? hehehe
I think for a buyer that has experience with import/export would be an easy job.
I've done this many times
Marcus calculations perfectly logical.
I could sell locally but Cyprus is a small country and no one would buy the lot
I need to sell the lot not one by one
Last but not least pins are in perfect condition with no wear as they where out of service few years when bought new. and locally pins are not abused. Photos dont do justice.

please be careful with your descriptions...
Quoted from teekee:please be careful with your descriptions...
Absolutely. I was going to mention this.
Nothing is ever perfect with no wear. Especially all 5 of them.

But hi-res photos will help you sell your games. If you take hi-res photos of every area of the playfield, then you let the buyer examine the game and postulate his own opinion of your games.
I typically take 30-40 pictures of the playfield alone for buyers. Post them on a photo collection webpage for easy referral. Just send the potential buyers the link.
Taking the extra initiative will greatly help your chances of selling your machines.
Good luck!

So thats what i mean that has to be seen at the spot. might be perfect for me but for someone else not. Never meant to insault anyone's knolledge
Quoted from demetris74:today Sold STTNG and DEMO man for €1000 each
WHAT!... thats only $1400 aust dlrs each... we are lucky to get shitty, beaten to hell projects for that.
Well , guys they really had to go as i needed the space, made the effort to advertise here. but is diffucoult to ship i guess outside the country.
The guy was amazied by the condition of the pins and bought 2 at the same time.
Seeing the real prices of STTNG and DM i feel that the guy who bought them is very lucky.
local pin market has no realistic prices, and 1000euro is indeed ridiculously low. since i can see them sold for $6000 +
but i really need the space and will miss them.
Remaining 3 pins
