the filament breaking from vibration or jolting happens - usually at a cap where you can't see an issue.

if the filament vaporized, you have a problem.

the ball gate switch is NC and causes the lifter start relay to lose power when it opens.

the lifter start relay is on manual page … not. Typically, the LSR has three switches:
1] hold in switch to keep itself powered until the ball gate switch opens
2] switch in selector lock trip relay circuits
3] switch in ball lift motor circuit

if another ball wasn't enabled to raise, the most likely place to look is the [2] circuit. If the problem only happens when select before 5th is enabled, that's another clue and you'd want to check the plug connections for wires 98-4 and 23-8, trough switch #3 and the loose wires around the trough that go to meters that likely aren't in the game.
