Whenever I see this kind of question the first thing I think I would do is just check to see what is for sale around me. There are lots of games on my wish ... list but anything that I can go pick up myself for the right price is worth thinking about.

But for specific games... what about TSPP? It's a good home pin... older sure, but has a more modern feel with deep rules. It's a reliable table, and good examples are often available for a decent price... by modern standards. It will also likely be easy to resell without taking a hit.
