Working on a Williams Dealers Choice. Was pretty rough shape switch wise. Been working my way through it and have one last issue. When the game starts, it gives you all 4 players, no 1 player game. I've looked at the schematics E6 Player Reset and Player up SW. Am I missing something, all I get is a 4 player game.

Thanks

Player unit might be gummed up and stuck.

Sounds like a player unit position issue. If you manually step the unit several positions, does it move to a reset position or not move at all when you start a game?

When you step it, does the action snap back or lazy and stated already, stuck altogether.

I’d check the position of the arms too.

I think it is coin unit, not player unit.

I agree I believe it is the coin unit
FYI Schematic and manual can be found here.

We may have Gottlieb on the brain. I only have 1 Williams right now :p

Here's a thread about that coin unit/player unit interaction in Williams games of that era - might help you get a grip on why you only have a 4-player game. Sounds like either the coin unit is stuck, or there's a break in the connection through it.
