Saw the trailer for a new Addams animated movie, realized that the mechanics of the Elvira machine sure would lend itself to a TAF re-theme for Stern...
Lighting the house windows was originally on TAF to begin w.... Elvira's trunk could become a throw-back to the original as Thing's box using display programming in place of the hardcore hand mechanics....
Also would probably be an easier title to get licensing for as the animated re-boot would avoid the licensing issues of the Julia estate or whomever actor's had licensing issues.
IMO the real mechanics that would sorely be missed on an update would be the magnets.
