Hi Guys,

Just got a bit of an issue trying to install my MM 3D translite and hoping for some advise....

I just tried to install my MM 3d translite and the trim just doesn't fit. It was tight enough before but with the slightly extra thickness of the 3d translite it just doesn't fit. Is there a different plastic trim for WPC95 games with the translite box to the normal translite set up on earlier games? If so, maybe that's my problem?

Thanks for any feedback.

Quoted from Scag:

Check if the 3D translite is the same size as your original. If the 3D one is bigger it might not be sitting in the recess of the lamp panel correctly.

It is slightly larger and does overlap the recess of the lamp panel slightly. I'm reluctant to trim though. Curious to see how others have managed this.

Quoted from Wickerman2:

It’s been a while, but I think on my AFM remake I ended up leaving off the bottom trim strip and it barely got in there. Took forever. I’v only had to get in backbox once since which is good. They are much thicker than regular translite

Thanks for your feedback. Just to clarify, you trimmed the bottom of the translite?

Quoted from Wickerman2:

No, just leaving off the black trim piece on bottom edge got it in there

Ah okay now I know what you mean. I might have to just do this as well.

For the FT and TOM 3D translites; they go on fine as those games don't have the light box set up of the WPC95 games. I have the 3D translites on my FT and WH2O and they were okay to install but not on my MM.

I just can't get the trim on my MM light box with the 3D translite!!! It's killing me! I can't even get the sides or top on correctly. I have cracked and snapped a few trim pieces now and even melted one with a heat gun trying to soften it to get it to fit.
I'm sure lots of people have installed these on WPC95 games. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please I'm begging now

No I didn't order the trim with it.

So there's two sizes of plastic trim! Okay I'll see who sells it then.

Thanks very much!
