So, I picked up a used 3D Printer. It's a kit of sorts. It was fully assembled and it appears all the parts are present. Boards, motors, extruders, platform, etc. The prior owner never got it to work.

But alas, no instructions. I sent a note to MakerBot but I'm not hopeful as this seems like a kickstarter version of their current product. I don't think they will waste their time.

I don't know if Brooklyn 7971 means anything but other than "Replicator" I can't find a model #.

http://www.notcot.com/archives/2012/07/makerbot-replicator-unbox-toy.php <-- A good write up here.

Does anyone have any documentation / experience for one of these?

I'm game for just plugging it into a cruddy laptop with some freeware software but I'd rather try some controlled tests first.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
faz
