I am looking for a 3D Printer. The part I am working on has moving parts inside each other.
I have all the files just need a printer that can build something that can look great and work functionally. I do not want to have to paint it, as it will not work and I have already tried painting one and it didn't work. I need it done in white. If you can help let me know or have experience in that area.

    Thanks

    Might look at shapeways.com

I'd need to know a lot more details, but shapeways.com is a great alternative. Their SLS printers are really nice and can do more complex "print in place" mechs than a cheaper home printer can.

Could try pinball life as well. I hear good things about Shapeways but I also hear they are really expensive too.

I just loaded white abs filament into one of my printers for a production run. Send me an STL and I'll see if I can print it out for you.

For anyone that wants or needs a expert modeler and also 3d prints cheap contact this guy
    http://www.makexyz.com/printer/trevbar?printer=d54f1861c8fa3f7582f9cff5771759d6

he did the tornado for Mezel Mods Woz !

Also if you want to find a printer locally look at makexyz to find one local but Trevor will be cheaper

Just ordered a rigidbot regular (10x10x10" build area). Was on sale over weekend for $399. Have to replace a lot of stuff to make it safe and work correctly (kick starter that tried to use China without a lot of oversight). But at $400 + $200 to make it right its still cheaper than a lot of other options... And has a good community around it.

I hear John Popadiuk may have some idle 3D printers.
