Hi All, Just found this thread by searching " 3d printed pinball " and as the creator of the machine, would like to give an update following my story article 8 months ago.

Since completing it almost a year ago, I have made some changes. Please see photos.

The flippers have been upgraded with much more powerful coils ( copied from Williams and wound on printed bobbins). The flipper spacing has also been corrected.

With more flipper power, the playfield angle has been increased from 3 degrees to 5 degrees and probably could go more.

The left hand bumper has been replaced by a second ramp, returning to the RH flipper.

To the left of the new ramp, there is now a spinner ,replacing 2 targets. A ball through the spinner ,returns to the top. The spinner action progresively illuminates the 'runway' above and when full, illuminates the Easy jet A320 and makes takeoff sound.

Remaining are 4 bumpers , 2 kickouts, 7 targets, 2 slingshots. ramp to bowling lane.

The RH kickout operates the door of the box at rear right to expose a ghost.

There is a lot more lighting.

The machine now plays much faster is more fun with the new features

All features are based on a seaside resort at Southend on Sea, Essex.

Future improvements are some drop targets, mechanical chimes for sounds e.g. bumpers and spinner, more features relating to the targets.

A new video of the machine in action will follow later.

    Regards

    aejpinball
