    Gives it a cool look, the "art", if you will, has a very matte flat cartoony texture to it. Very cool. Didn't watch the whole thing but what's up with the thing on the ramp, meant to be a gate or just something cool they wanted to add (that may or may not act like a gate?) Surely printing a 3D gate/spinner would be easy enough, so I'm assuming it's just for something new and cool like they were going for. Ahh, I see, it's like bowling pins, very interesting and cool!
