    Quoted from toyotaboy:

The prusa i3 Mk2s kit just dropped to $599

    Ok, I'm buying one.

    Quoted from toyotaboy:

Because the new awesome Mk3 is releasing next month!

Ugh! Undecided again. That seems really awesome, especially the filament sensor.

In actuality, I'm frugal enough that I'll use my current printer until it falls apart, but man, those Prusa machines are sexy.

    Quoted from Mfsrc791:

Anyone know what is a good car program to use? SketchUp seems good but kinda sucks for beveling and rounding corners.

I'll keep posting my favorite: http://www.openscad.org/

I've been running a Rostock Max V2 for a couple years now. Not the cheapest out there, current version is still $1,000 for the unassembled kit, but never regretted the purchase. If I could, I'd swap my built V2 for a V3 kit in a heartbeat.

Just bought the Creality Ender 2 . I like the fact its cheap ( 175 bucks shipped on sale ), all one unit and very organized. Reviews are very good on it. If I like the hobby I will upgrade to a much better unit later. I will let you know after I receive.

Purchased the Ender 2 3D DYI kit for 175 shipped. All I can say is WOW. All aluminum and metal with only two plastic pieces which are switch holders. Went together very easy with YouTube videos and made a flawless first print.

Very sturdy and wiring is neat and organized. I’m would definitely buy again

Its going to be tricky trying to do ABS or more exotic materials on that open concept. Nice looking print!
