Hi everybody,

as somebody mentioned in the holo repro thread that it might be nice to have a 3D version of creature translite....we of course made them some time ago. They are at Universal waiting for aproval. Most of you know the AVATAR translite - just the same for Creature

Here's a link to a flash movie where you see the movement (sorry for the poor quality)

http://www.pinball-dreams.com/extern/Creature.swf

And here the link to the 3d image - you should wear red/green glasses for a perfect result (but also any other glass on one eye should be okay)

http://www.pinball-dreams.com/extern/Creature-3D.jpg

Hope I can provide those translites soon - already made a prototype and people seem to like it - at least Roger Sharpe liked it when it was presented on Pinball Expo

More 3d backglasses for all major titles will be available soon - at the moment we're making Medieval Madness and Attack from Mars

Have fun
cheers

Henrik

btw: no - you don't need to wear 3d glasses playing your creature

me to.

#9 10 years ago

Woah! Yeah! Any updates?

#10 10 years ago

that looks pretty neat. I'm assuming this is lenticular like the TRON 3D translite?

henrik:
any idea on availability and pricing?

#11 10 years ago

I'd be in for one.

#12 10 years ago

How about one for LOTR

#13 10 years ago

I'd like to get pricing on this as well

#14 10 years ago

Liking the lenticular Creature backglass -- goes perfectly with the pin's theme. Put me down for one too!

#15 10 years ago

Way cool! How did I not know about this!

One critique. The moon should not have parallax movement with respect to the background. But I'll still gladly take it as is!

#16 10 years ago

Very cool!

#17 10 years ago

Oh wow....need one of these

#21 10 years ago

How much is this going to cost, I like it.

#23 10 years ago

New to me as well. I'm down for one if they go into production.

Anyone heard any updates from Pinball-Dreams in the 8 months since the OP? Maybe the project is dead.

#25 10 years ago

It could be Licensing and therefore lawyers again...There is so much we all would like to see happen in pinball, but money speaks first, and the laws of intellectual property rights....

Henrik,

Any chance this will also be made into a backglass version? CPRs conversions look great and Creature seems worthy of the consideration.

Thanks,

Brian
