Necro thread bump. Just a few questions for the OP as well as others: would the repro playfield be the best option at this point for rebuilding this game? Just considering my options as I start this process on my own BOP

My biggest concern is where I'm at from a cost perspective. I'm $2K in on just the base pin, in mostly working condition, save for the scoreboards and sound, which I'm sure is a power/connector issue and should be simple. Game is playable, but has been sitting for 10 years and is pretty rough on the playfield. The mylar has lifted on most of the inserts and looks generally crappy.
So $2K for the Bride 2.0 kit
Another $1K for the repro field
And a crap ton of labor and random parts.
I'll be $5K into the machine before even STARTING the playfield swap.
I'm thinking for $5K I could probably pick up a pretty nice BoP with the 2.0 kit already. Maybe not. Is it closer to a $6K pin now?
