Quoted from mettle64:

I pre-ordered a SFII and I'm curious to see how sturdy it is. I'd like to attach a french cleat and get it mounted on the wall. These are only 60 lbs or so, I'm just worried about the cabinet pulling apart.

Without seeing the cabinet I still think it would be fine hanging this way. Worst case you could go the Stern route and add some angle brackets from the back of the cabinet to the sides to prevent splitting

They should do Battletoads! The arcade version is lots of fun.

Quoted from Luckydogg420:

I’d love to see a rotational joystick game. With ikari warriors, heavy barrel, and S.A.R search and rescue. In one cab

Oh man, completing the heavy barrel was one of the greatest feelings in the world back as a kid in the arcade!

Any pictures of the circuit boards that are running the games? Curious as to what they're using, hackability, etc.

Quoted from RonSS:

So, if 1 millisecond is 0.005 seconds

What? .001s and yes even seemingly small fractions of a second can be noticed

For anybody wanting soft touch buttons and not the cheap clicky crap, below is what I use in my Mame cabinet which has a typical 2-player 6 button fighter layout. These ultra light touch microswitches are smooth as butter, and you cannot even feel the click when they actuate. They are the closest microswitches I've found to actual leaf switches and are the only ones I use now. Perfect for Galaga or any other games where you're mashing the button repeatedly.
