Quoted from LesManley:Walmart has different in store and online prices
True
Quoted from LesManley:won't even price match their own website
Not true. They will absolutely price match their own website. This isn’t anecdotal information, it’s policy.
The shelf price was $299, I whipped out my phone to show them $199, and they changed it on the spot.
Quoted from Nokoro:I love Gauntlet and Joust! I may have to get another one. Have you tried playing three players at once, and does it feel cramped?
It would be nice if you could choose the artwork for the main game, as I’m not a huge fan of Rampage, but I imagine that having that many SKUs would not make sense for them cost wise. Perhaps an add on overlay that they could sell . . . .
Arcadegraphix.com has overlays, but the selection is pretty limited right now.
Tron just released. They also have TMNT, The Simpsons, etc.

Quoted from badblackz:Did you call or go through the website? I did it through the website on 12/26 and haven't heard back from them. My confirmation email said they would notify me when it ships, but nothing so far....
Same. Just received mine yesterday.
Quoted from Guinnesstime:Welp, this was a frustrating as hell shitballs of an experiment. Wish I never did it. Relying on YouTube is pointless. Can't find reliable ROMs. Limited documentation anywhere and despite having 40 ROMs on the system, nothing ever runs.
At this point I'd take more satisfaction in busting the system with a hammer.
Happy Easter!
Buy a pre-loaded hard drive. Check Etsy or EBay. There are a metric shit-ton of options, all pretty much plug and play.
Also, we’ll be moving around the New Brunswick area this summer. I’ve done several raspberry pi rigs and will be building my third MAME machine this winter. Happy to get together over some beers to get you going.
Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
We’re excited to get back to the northeast! Judging by the NE ‘for sale’ threads, it’s a pretty active community.
Quoted from Irishbastard:FYI, Asteroids etc model is $75 most Walmarts now...along with Centipede.

Thanks for the tip! $75

I don't feel like I'm fighting the spinner to get it to move. However, I almost feel it is too sensitive. Perhaps I'm just used to the horrible Arcade1Up stock spinner. I found the best setting for me was to have switch 3 on the dipswitch on with switches 1 and 2 off.
Thanks. Just installed mine as well and it’s crazy sensitive. I’ll try that.
Quoted from paynemic:Look what showed up at my place! Going to try to install tonight.[quoted image]
Nice! I just ordered through bestbuy.com. There are a few reviews now on YouTube, and the consensus is that the yoke looks and feels great. That was my biggest concern and the reason I was holding out. Can’t wait!
The sit down Star Wars cabinet looks like the normal 3/4 version without the riser and a seat attached... I’m wondering if it’s an all-new unit or A1Up will offer a kit.
Golden Axe, Shinobi and Altered Beast are some of my favorites. Those are my go-to games on my MAME cabinet. Glad they’re getting their own dedicated cab.
Looks like the sit down Star Wars will be available around Father’s Day, with the stand alone bench ready around summer.
I’d be interested in the bench depending on the price.
I wouldn’t touch the pinballs, but I still love my SW, T2, Tron and Dragons Lair.
I sold my neighbor the Arcade1up Asteroids last year, and we spent Friday converting it to a Ms. Pac-Man for his old lady for Christmas.
I have several MAME, driving and Teknoparrot machines, but the Arcade1ups add to the game room ambience.
