    I would have zero issues paying $2/one, $3/two, $5/3 for a new high end pin...especially if I was considering buying one for home use....

    I would imagine one the biggest challenges operators have is that most casual players (ones who don't own machines) have zero clue how much they cost. So if the game doesn't have some sort of appeal i.e. theme then they'll probably gravitate towards the cheaper games. In regards to JJP games I can totally see why WOZ or the Hobbit would have universal appeal due to their themes. The only reason I would throw down $2/game is if I was interested in buying the game for home use.
