Even though it means I'll have to play shacklersrevenge for 24 hours straight (and therefore winning zero games and finishing DFL), I just sent in my preregistration for this event.

Per the Facebook page, 24 Yes and 4 Maybe responses so far.

Update: Due to space constraints, we must cap the event at 40 people. Please be sure to confirm your spot by sending payment to Jim Swain, or reaching out to either Mark Carvey or myself.
Also, we must ask that no spectators be in attendance. This event is geared toward playing nearly non stop pinball, and we need any extra space for any and all confirmed contenders.
We expect this event to be a memorable blast, and we look forward to competing with all of you!
    Cheers! James

Non-stop play for 24 hours? I'd actually be interested if I didn't have to stay awake for the 30 or hours it would require.

Jim, unfortunately I just discovered that my wife (who is extraordinarily supportive of my pinball addiction) has an annual retreat that very weekend, for which I will have full responsibility for the kids. I don't think 24 hours of pinball is in the cards. Maybe next time.
