I would make and sell Quran adventures. Why let Heck have all the fun. It will be designed by J-Pop with a Zombie Yeti drawn Muhammad (hopefully not his last art) and Lyman on Code. We will feature Quad squared manufacturing and be the leading manufacturer by next weekend. All I need is payment in full. Now. Trust me.

Nah. Those high taxes are only for the immigrants and other new arrivals around here. My property tax is $1k a year.

How about inviting us to your house for a party....paying some washed up 70’s band 75k , open bar 25k .... wait , reverse that! Add 10 NIB games for us to break in and the rest for cleanup expenses... we’ll bring the chips and pretzels.

#121 6 years ago

What to buy? Hookers, blow, and a boat 80's style!

Move to New Zealand and live with RD in his separate pin house. He needs a house sitter when he does his world travels. Play in the Senior Rugby league.

#124 6 years ago

I'd buy a couple more pinball machines. I'd hop onto the bitcoin roller coaster with some of it. Perhaps a Managed fund with the rest or a deposit on an investment property.

Now we’re talking.

But then who’d I go drinking with when I hit SoCal? If ODIN and NimbleNuts move here, no point traveling there ....

So better plan (and in all honesty, probably what ODIN will do ...)

6,025 bottles of Jack.

I owned Netflix at $9 a share, NINE DOLLARS!
Thinking nothing of it, I sold it at $25 knowing I had a modest profit and it was just a fun online trading fad.

This is the lesson I often share with folks about remembering what your good at and sticking to it as your primary source of income. I’m no day trader.

#128 6 years ago

I'll be loading all my pinball machines, surfboards, mountain bike, and the Lazyboy and myself into a shipping container as long as Dave has me all set up with a little beach shack, a case of Jack and a twelve pack of Pacificos ready when I hit land in New Zealand.

All I need are some tasty waves, cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Yep, I bought $10k of NFLX at $35 and put in a 10% stop-loss order that triggered. Painful to see it at $350 now.

Top 10 pins & The Hellcat !

Honestly, it’s more fun at Odins place with his 20 old 1960s clangers and his old Toyota Truck.

If he had the top 10 pins, I wouldn’t want to play them. I can play them anywhere.

And a 4 player game would take an hour, not 4 minutes like they do now.

I know what I’d rather do.

Too much craziness for me with all that running around like an idiot smashing into everyone. I guess im getting old.

#144 6 years ago

I wish I were in your position. LOL

While we recently paid off our house, there always seems to be something the money goes toward instead. Although, we do travel nicely, don't have kids or car payments, but are not yet redy for social security.

So given the options, and my owm personal history, I'd go for the liver Having only one kidney, you never know what you might need! LOL

If tis is a real world scenario for you, like I read in one of your previous posts, do what makes you happy, be good to others, and enjoy life. Hopefully all 3 can be done at the same time

Chris

You know, a pinsider with money's a little like the mule with a spinning wheel. No one knows how he got it, and danged if he knows how to use it!

Buy another small home or condo near your home. Use the rental income to help buy more machines, if things change and you need the money you can always sell the home.

$212000 might get him a nice box to live in with a bucket of dirt for a yard in that area. Fortunately it doesn't rain much and the weather is mild so the box could last longer then most would expect.

If you're going to buy some nectar, don't waste your money on this over-priced heavily marketed Tennessee-made whiskey. Buy some real bourbon!
