Pinfest was great. Time to focus on the next great PA show, York. Post your games, parts and other gameroom stuff here. Plus parts and games you'd like to buy. Show date are 10/7/2022 and 10/8/2022. Show info is here:

My 1st PF swap was a Xenon that was undimpled. Not that hard. I used clear plastic sheets to vector each area on the top side to locate mounting holes from the old PF. Then drill mounting holes. On the backside it's not that critical. Just follow the light socket locations and drill. Perfect time to install bayonet sockets or the new LED Yoppsicles. Test fit assemblies and drill mounting holes.

I have to drill most new CPR's because the holes never line up anyway on both sides.

    Quoted from too-many-pins:

I already talked to Rich about a vendor space for the York Show

Skip, thanks for that set of Gottlieb EM legs I came by 3 times on Thursday. When you got your stuff organized and they were for sale I thought we were going to have an issue when another guy wanted that set. But it all worked out and they look great on my 1967 Super Score now.

I'm considering a vendor space myself, but I sold a lot at Pinfest so it will depend on what I pick up from now to the show.

I can bring a 1967 Gottlieb Super Score project to the show. Nice BG and PF which needs shopped, was working when I got it, and includes a bunch of new parts, PM for details, $550.

I have a 1967 Gottlieb Super Score to sell. Project game that was working with sluggish score reels when purchased. I just have too many project games and not enough time. I went thru several score reels, others will need done. Has a nice BG and PF but needs shopped. Cabinet shows wear in the artwork but solid. Includes a new pop bumper cap set, polished coin entrance plate too. Coin chutes and other coin handling parts are missing. Rather than clog the thread with multiple pics, PM if interested. $500. Will be at the show Friday.

    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Why are so many saying they’ll be there Friday only?

Parts. It's the "early bird gets the worm" mentality. If you're into newer games, you just order parts from Marco or Pinball Life. For EM, SS and WPC collectors there is a finite selection of used parts so you need to get there Friday at open to score them.

I've vended at Pinfest the last 2 years and bring mostly used parts to sell. Sales are 15% or more before the doors even open to other vendors. 50% in the 1st 3 hours Friday, 15% till 6pm Friday and just 20% or less on Saturday. Why? Most of the good hard to find stuff was sold on Friday. I'm mainly there as a vendor to see friends, buy stuff and sell off extra parts and sell a game or two.

Same with games. Plenty get sold before the doors even open among vendors.
