used to make a yearly trip or two to millers fireworks, just outside of toledo, ohio, but like everything else i get into, was just spending too much money every year, just to set it all on fire. although i put on amazing shows, in the end you are basically just setting money on fire. attached is a pic of the aftermath of one our final shows back in the day.

so i switched over to animated christmas lighting (e.g. The Great Christmas Light Fight) before it was a thing that everyone did. (dont do that anymore either. and sold all my controllers and decorations.)

have fun, be safe. enjoy!!

Quoted from PinballTilt:

You should totally get back in to either of those hobbies neighbor. I will be freeloading from the closest parking lot

we used to have one of largest July 4th parties all around. Cars would find us from I77 and come over and park in the old kmart parking lot to watch the show. (about 2 blocks away) we had so many cars when we were cleaning up stop by and say thanks, it was the best show they have ever seen. it was a lot of work, but also a ton of fun.

i too got to the point of using an e-firing system so i could sit behind a table and watch my own show. also, i never consumed a drop of alcohol until the show was complete. (i was actually licensed to shoot 1.3 pyro for awhile) different time in my life back then. great memories.
