I know capcom has some serious issues with led . I know there are special boards out there. But I want to leave my machines as original as can be (led change only) But I was wondering if in 2022 there are specials leds now that can overcome this ?

    Thx

A premium LED with built in circuitry is your best bet, but an LED is never going to react exactly as a light bulb. An LED is an on and off device - two states. A light bulb is an analog device, varying gradually between on and off. This is why special boards were developed to interact with LEDs, by driving them with spaced pulses of varying width (PWM, pulse width modation) to drive brightness. The short answer is, an LED is not a light bulb, and never will be.

    Quoted from transprtr4u:

    Need the LEDOCD capcom board.

Does that exist or do you mean someone needs to make it?
I’ve left all my machines original. Even non-ghosting bulbs don’t work right. A bummer, but the light shows with incandescents is stunning. Capcom programmers were all-stars

Thank you all,Yes I’ve seen those boards but they are out of stock and they are not planning to build new ones. Also I don’t like other boards in my original machine that maybe can damage a other in the future. But was wondering if there already was a better non ghosting led out there that works with capcom. Problem is that I find those games to dark for my taste and pinstads bars I really don’t like

    Nope.

It's either OCDLED or a dark game.

    Shit!

An Ledocd board is not going to damage anything, thats a silly thing to worry about. Its sad they aren't planning on making any more.
