#59 2 years ago

Just spotted this thread. Looking forward to the show!

It think it's nice when there are rare, hard-to-find games at shows. So I'll be bringing a nice Deadly Weapon. It will also be for sale.

#60 2 years ago

Bringing some Stern 30 inch legs. Very nice.
Older strerns that have the inside support plate.
Bringing a 10 or so capcom boards.
Have a couple museum pieces too. Original Diner ramp jigs.

We will be selling pinball glass and parts at PAGG this weekend (Friday to Sunday). To make sure we take enough inventory I am taking preorders to guarantee you your glass. No advance deposit required. We will have four types of glass with us.
Standard Pinball glass $40
Widebody Pinball glass $45
Illinois Pinball Old Stock HD Glass $150 (We only have about 10 sheets at this price)
New Stock HD Glass (Similar to Stern HD Glass) $245
Preorders will receive a $5 per sheet discount over the show price and of course a huge discount for no shipping.

We are taking 1000's of New, NOS, and used parts to PAGG this weekend. I obviously will not be bringing every part that we stock or have access to. Please use this add to request a part that you need and if we have it I will do my best to bring one with us to the show.

Thanks

If anybody has one of these they can bring up, in a non-broken form, I could really use it. With or without the W in the middle.

Thanks!

Dynamic changes to the games I'm bringing!

Crumb (Jacks Open retheme) will be there.

Even though fireball2 sold me back the Williams Big Daddy, I'm going to bring it to the show for sale. Not sure on price yet, but working well thanks to the previous owner!

Big Daddy is now selling for $800. Fully working game with a great condition playfield!

Bringing my Alien. It just barely fit in my Outback. Time to get a new vehicle if I am going to be moving any pins. Will be there at 1:30 today.

I didn't get the em room, and about 30 machines showed up after those pics.
Check my story on instagram: @mrcinslo

Several killer vendors. New sterns on sale. Big swap meet tomorrow.

Right now way more games than people playing.

Had a great time playing. Godzilla is very fun as is hot wheels. My sons were with me and they had a blast playing games. My youngest likes EM games the best because of the bells and chimes.

My oldest was playing Hot Wheels (he is 6) and was doing well. He did a couple of live catches and bounce passes. The gentleman playing TSPP stopped his game and watched my oldest play. He complimented him on his abilities, and it made his day.

The only downside was shortly after. My oldest was waiting in line to play Octoberfest, and the couple he was waiting to finish refused to let him play. Needless to say he was upset.

But instead of getting angry with the inconsiderate people i used it as a teaching moment about being nice to others, sharing, and taking turns.

The show had a great mix of games! Thanks to the organizers, staff, and those who brought games.

Great to see friends too!

Great show of people and machines. Very much the the typical PAGG vibe.

Looks like a cool show with a great vibe. I would be hogging time on the TX, Excalibur and Kingpin. Does anyone know what the vendor is asking for the Batman poster marque? Looks interesting

Had a great time! Excited to buy a new game (Jurassic Park Pro), getting delivered later today!

Only disappointment was getting a high score on Alien, the guy behind me standing over me the whole time, breathing down my neck. He’s all antsy to play after me, I back away not knowing I’d got a high score. See the game come up to enter initials and he just hits AAA really fast and looks back like, “Oh, did you want to put your initials in, sorry”. That can’t be proper etiquette, is it?

I'm standing here talking to him.
It's double sided, no bulbs but does have chase lights. You can put a poster on both sides.

Sounds like your son was very patient.
Refusing to let him play is BS - pure and simple.
Hope the pin hogs moved along once you got there.

What is up with people?!

Glad I’m not the only one who thought so.

People can be dicks at shows for sure, but that's the world in general.
Fortunately the cool people seem to very much outnumber the dicks.
My buddy and I watched a dude at ZapCon one year continue to restart game well knowing a kid was waiting patiently in line behind him to play.
We basically told the dude "hey man, you gonna hog the game all day? Theres a kid thats been waiting in line behind you to play" and shamed him into walking away.
The dude responded with "what? Do you own the machine", to which I responded "yes, actually thats my machine".
I have no probably pointing out bad etiquette to people, especially when kids are involved.

The worst for me is people that intentionally start a four player game on a newer machine that people want to play so they can play all four games.

Seems like everyone had a good time. No issues with masking. Generally a fun show.
Loved Tron. What a great game. Alien was fun. Godzilla was really good. Better than expected. Enjoyed Mata Hari was very nice.
Tons of great games. Thanks to everyone who brought them and thanks to all who came.

No worries I will make a note that it is SAB rather than AAA.

Here are the high scores. The … was me testing and does not count.

Great event! So glad to be back! Thank you zahner and those that organized the event, drypaint for help with the Alien and Wally for helping me load up the game. Godzilla was fun and I also got to play some Joust - my favorite 2 player game. Cheers!

I was waiting behind a guy. He finished his game then pressed start again. Fortunately the game was short. When he pressed the start button again, I asked if I could join him this time. He just let me play the game.

Yep, that 84 million score should say SAB. Thanks! Maybe it’ll stay up there for a few days.

Or when someone puts 4 players on a game and walks away with balls left on each player. Then you're standing there trying to play off the half finished games hoping no one thinks you are the a-hole that wanted to play 4 games by yourself. It happened to me multiple times this weekend.
