I can get my Getaway fix now!

Was busy moving in games yesterday. Couldn't make time to run back across town. It's in the car to come today (friday).

    #252 1 year ago

Whoever brought the mystic, thanks. The game looks great and plays great. Tammy enjoyed it. Can i add it to my collection?

    #253 1 year ago

Yesterday was a great first day, it was great to see faces that I haven't seen in a long time and play some machines I hadn't before. Looking forward to heading down a little later this afternoon. I received a text late last night that the left flipper isn't working on BOP. Fingers crossed a wired came loose, but I'm usually not that lucky. I've let a Pinsider or two know that might be there before me so that I can know if I need to be bringing parts down with me.

    Bring on day 2!!!

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us this year. It's been great to get back into it after such a long layoff. You guys are the best. Let's have a great Friday!

Is anyone doing board repair this year?

I am not going to make it to PATZ this year but I do tons of board repairs and upgrades. What do you need fixed?

I’m bringing up some standard playfield glass. It’s all new but may have a minor flaw in them. $15/sheet. I also have WMS yellow pop caps 2 for $1.

So yeah... Great show, and thanks to everyone who made it great.
I'm still sort of pinball giddy.
Tommy - you are crazy. I still can't believe Quicksilver was up and playing before the show ended.
    I got a T-shirt.
I got a poster (who did this year's art? It's cool!)
I had several awesome sodas (Thanks Mr. Soda Pop!)
I got a couple sheets of Invisiglass (Thanks Steve!)
I got Blackout home, set up, and playing (Thanks John!, and thanks Matt for finding the problem with it!)
It was great to see so many people that I haven't seen for way to long.

I’m still very tired today from the whole thing but I’m glad I was able to get it done. If anyone else got pictures of me working on it feel free to send them my way or post them. I was too busy to really document the process but needless to say it was a lot of work to go from blank playfield to fully working game over the course of 3 show days. Got it completed with about 90 minutes to spare. I’ll get it dialed in and playing well here in the next couple weeks but for now I’m done looking at it

Just unloaded. Thanks for everyone that made this show a success. We had a ton of people stop by the Tilt booth and chat and BUY stuff. Ive set up at many shows, and many of them the accessory sales are slow. Please remember, and this goes for all vendors at any show. It cost us a lot of money to do these shows. So parts, swag, etc helps us offset those cost. I had many people that thanked us for bringing all the games that we brought, we truly appreciate those comments. I know that they are only words, but it shows that people appreciate all the work it takes to bring over a dozen games to a show.

The game I got from you was Apollo, not Skylab. I'm keeping that.
I don't think that Skylab was yours, someone else was the seller. The cosmetics were....... not perfect.
Check with Kruzman, he ended up with that game somehow.

    #278 1 year ago

I think I actually only played 3 games the entire show. Spent all the time keeping Sterling qued up in the tournament and tournament scorekeeper all Saturday. I did like those whizbang table tops, pretty neat to see something that old. Sterling had a good time, was in B finals all day Friday, slipped out Saturday morning and couldnt get back in, was just a few spaces out. Tough competition!.

Really enjoy going to a pinball show after all these yrs of shut down here in Mi. Everyone was friendly, and considerate. Was good to catch up and to see all the smiling faces. Thanks to the venders esp TILT and Refinery for letting me talk their ears off in the games they brought.

Thank you everyone for coming to our booth and those who purchased t-shirts. We had a great time sharing some games that we typically don’t have on the floor of the arcade. Met some great people and was great to talk with old friends. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
