I happen to had snapped a couple of pictures. Finally left at 2am after long day of setting up, installing some ColorDMD displays and some minor repair here and there.

A big thank you to everyone. The show was really great. The quality of the machines was really good. Very few to no broken down machines this year. The "kind" of people attending was very different. More adult and nice people. Nobody smashing machines. Sound system was NOT too loud.
Overall really improved. I would highly highly recommend it if you have some time and are in the Houston area.
2 THUMBS UP FOR CARPET...LOL
Great show so far.....Godzilla has been spotted everywhere.
Alien is the show fav...haha.

Swap meet time.

I need that, burned that midnight oil baby!

Have not seen them as a vendor this time.

The discount was for only a DMD game being brought to the show for the public to play during the weekend with the display installed. This is prepaid 2 weeks before the show. I help organize with them and install the displays into games on the floor on load in Thursday. So ColorDMD has not actually ever attended this show, but they do go to TPF and offer the same deal there.
This year my crew and I installed 22 ColorDMD and displayed them this weekend. With some other games brought to the show already sporting one, cane out to 31 on display.
To all vendors, businesses, sponsors alike, thank you!
From Marco and Joystix bringing a ton of new games to the individuals selling stickers and trinkets, you all made this a great show.
I’ll book my 2022 hotel the day the dates are announced.

I echo Nevus’ thoughts fully. What a great weekend. I just wish the show happened more than once per year. Thank you everyone involved in putting on an incredibly fun show.
Marco and Joystix having all those new games was awesome. Godzilla and Mando were both incredible to get to play.
Who won the drawing for the Mando pro?
Thank you to all of the attendees, vendors, exhibitors, special guests, musical guests, and more that attended the Houston Arcade Expo this weekend!! The turnout all around was excellent and I think we had the best selection of pins, both in quantity and quality, we've ever had at the show! So much of this was due to the months of work and dedication that PinballManiac40 puts into working on so many of our local collectors' machines throughout the year. I also want to note that the Space City Pinball League / Belles of Space City were instrumental in bringing so many great games for both the show and tournament.
I hope the new attendees had a great time and enjoyed the energy we try to put into the show each year. We thank you for giving our show a chance and hope to see everyone again next year!
We'll continue developing the show as the best party show around!
I'll post an update on the 2022 dates as soon as we get them worked out with the hotel!

Great show! My boys and I had a lot of fun. Great to see so many great pins and flood of new pins. Nice to see some JJP pins and new Alien.
Pinball News was there too!! Here is the write up.

Thanks to all who worked to make this awesome show happen! My son and I had a lot of fun... It was great to play Heist, Godzilla premium, Dialed In, Hot Wheels and many more!
Thanks to everyone for a great show. I want to specifically thank Keith (?) for bringing his Pinball Brothers Alien. It was hit or miss for parts of the show, with a persistent trough issue that kept killing balls. But that said: damn! I really thought this was a great game. Sound and theme were completely compelling. If I were going to buy one game, that would have been the one.
Well, maybe with the exception of the MechCorps game. Talk about a labor of love. I believe my kills to suicide almost averaged out.
Thanks to everyone at the Space City Pinball League for the wonderful turnout and general kindness. I loved the custom Gorgar done by Phil Grimaldi. Some beautiful games in that booth.
Thanks to Brian Foytik for helping keep my game and a lot of other up and running.
A shout out to Gerry Stellenberg for bringing the Multimorphic P3 games. I had talked smack about their platform years ago when it first came out, and I freely admit they've addressed almost everything I complained about. Heist was exceptionally fun and well done. I've found myself on their website multiple times today. Tempting.
Anyway, great show. Seriously, by the end of it (with my group shutting things down at 4:30 and 2:45 the two days), I need the next four months to regroup and enter a rehab clinic before Texas Pinball....

Yep, I was on their pre-order list for a while but pulled out a bit before they went to manufacture. I really enjoyed playing it at the show. Can’t wait to see how things go with Scott Danesi helping them now. I think the P3 platform has an incredibly high ceiling.

My pleasure. I am happy to have had a small team this year helping out while I was actually playing in the SCO tournament.
Thanks again, Mike, for bringing your game out.

Dooo it... it's the best value in pinball (TM).
I don't regret my P3 purchase at all. I don't know many that have.
I'm now deciding if I want to pool cash for the "soon" licensed title featuring Scott's Audio... or go ahead and do a Heist.

Heist was the biggest surprise for me. It was FAR better than I imagined.

Glad you enjoyed it It's nice to finally be able to show this game off at shows.
Houston was a lot of fun... good turnout, fun machine lineup, great people. We had a great time and will look forward to next year. Huge thanks to Keith and everybody who helps with the event.

I agree. Definitely raised my interest from my past thoughts of P3. I liked Heist and how the playfield guided you during gameplay.
Heist was a blast. Great fun with Alex coaching me onto the leaderboard was one of many highlights of the weekend for me
" I never look at the ads or main site except to hit the hotel info.
I'm pretty sure I never get the emails anyway.
Feel like this was "Sprung" on us without any clear discussion or input."
Come on Zitt, it was posted as a 3 day event for a year and by your own admission you didn't bother to read the website or emails . It sounds like if they would have printed the hours on a 2 x 4 and smacked you in the head with it , you STILL wouldn't notice it .
So why get on Pinside a day before the show and whine about hours you didn't bother to notice anyway ?
I'm glad you made it , but PAY BETTER ATTENTION
That is simply uncalled for and rude.
I can state with 100% certainty that this was sprung on more than just me.
HAAG did NOT solicit input from any of the exhibitors. They didn't do a poll; they didn't ask for input via email. They just did it after YEARS or ?decades? of doing it just Friday and Saturday then sprung it on most of us without any clear notice. Posting on a website is not clear notice unless they pointed exhibtors to it... which they did not.
So; do I care if you think I didn't pay attention? No.
Am I happy that the show forced me to stay an extra day? No, not really.

It was hardly SPRUNG on anyone ..it was advertised for over a year . I agree its pretty RUDE for you to admit that you are too lazy or self absorbed to actually read the materials the organizers worked so hard to put together
You aren't an infant , so you really shouldn't expect anyone to spoon feed you
And no , they didn't solicit your opinion before the organizers added a third day ( its unlikely you would have read the info even if you had been asked ) .
Not that anybody should have asked (that's kind of like the lazy folks who want to know if there is a list of the bargains at the swap meet before they bother to get out of bed )
It's very bad form for you to get on the Pinside Forum a day before the show and whine about your failure in Reading Comprehension

Barry Whatever. Clearly you are the correct person to inform me what is bad form.
I stand by my comments. You can choose to believe whatever you want to believe... but do us all a favor KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
I shall not feed the troll.
2022 Houston Arcade Expo will be 3 days long, just as it was this year.
Sunday sure went quick for me.
