Chuckwurt burned it at a Gottlieb ceremony.

That sucks!

Several here have that brick style floor in their QuickSilver cabs. This is the 1st Seawitch have seen with the bricks.

My Seawitch cab has a real wood floor.

#103 2 years ago

My second Seawitch, both gad the bricks.
And JK about Chuckwurts BG pf. He still has it.

Feature lamp bus and GI returns installed.

Adding correct stripe by dragging acrylic marker alongside about 10' of each wire needed. Then I heat set with hairdryer.
I'm doing the controlled lighting circuits first, 1 connector at a time, as some color combos are redundant.

All info needed in schematics

You'll probably have the only stargazer that has wiring that matches the schematics given stern's track record with schematic accuracy.

#108 2 years ago

Took a few hours, but got the 3 feature lamp harnesses ready to install..minus the damn orange and blue wires that were out of stock.
I'm getting wire from Interstate Wire, in TX.

I am not into astrology. I had to print out one of these for a road map.

I'm not into astrology either..and that will probably come in handy on this build.
Thx

Controlled lamp harnesses installed, except for a couple at the lower star rollovers. Schematics are vague, at best, so im waiting for some pics before connecting.
This is an interesting challenge, to say the least.

Thanks, cottonm4 for the pics.
I really like how the yoppsicles make for a clean light installation. I'll be using these on all builds from now on. No more flaky lamp sockets.

A quick test of GI with battery pack shows connections are good.

I want to see your Yoppsicles when lit up. I have been lighting my pin with 2smd LEDs and I like the light I get from 2smd's.

Quoted from Jjsmooth:

What about the GI lights?

#115 2 years ago

Yoppsicles are only for insert lights. At GI locations i use new sockets.
I like the look of incandesents wherever the bulb is visible from players point of view. Otherwise, I go with 2smd warm whites (like in the backbox).

New plastics made to match the playfield.
So much better. I can make more sets if anyone needs them.

I would be possibly interested in a set.

How do they look when lit up?

What type of plastic are they made of?

Can you make them a little longer to get a little closer to the flippers?

#124 2 years ago

Heres a pic when lit with warm white leds. Mine on left, cpr on right

They are made of PTEG, just like the rest.
No, not changing shapes. These are exactly same size as cpr, which I have to believe are exact same as original.

Your plastics look real good !

The Yopsickles look good in the pic. How do you like looking at them? Are they bright enough?

#129 2 years ago

Ill be using Yoppsicles from now on. Love them.

Down to the wire getting this ready for Pincinnati.

#132 2 years ago

Haha. He’s joking. I sold it to a friend that owns big game as well. I’ve tried to use it as a sample for CPR to remake them, but they don’t want to remake them.

I can offer up additional Stargazer plastics (that match up way better to the Greatwich playfield) for $165 shipped to anyone who needs them.
