I watched the games and I thought it was pretty entertaining with the talent level equivalent to 3rd stringers in the NFL. Of coarse there where some that stood out, Jones for one but he also played for three NFL teams before finding himself in need of a job. I like football so I'll watch at any level from Highschool to Pro's.

There's as much to like as dislike but it is football. I like the way they do kickoffs and wonder if that isn't something the NFL could adopt. Certainly less violent and there appears to be a lot of potential for exciting plays.

The old NFL thread appears to have taken a crap. I notified Robin about it so I'm sure it'll be fixed soon. I did reach out to a couple others on pinside to see if they were having the same problem (thread will only load 1st page) and they were so it is definitely a thread problem. I had made a post in the thread this morning and came back to it but could not and still can't load more than original 1st page.

Yeah attendance doesn't look good today nor at last weeks games either, it will come down to TV money in the end probably.

BattleHawks fan now? I think the XFL has potential and it's very entertaining. I hope they can keep it going for a couple seasons so people will start to identify with some of the teams and fill stadiums.

Can anyone look worse than Gloin, they benched him in favor of Perez (I think is his name.) Jones didn't last long in the NFL either even though he played for 3 teams.

Without question they should keep him starting and get rid of McGloin period. McGloin is not judging from his actions what I would call a team player to say the least.
