2020 pinball show at the Ann Arbor VFW is Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th
thank you
ticket reservations start up on January 1st.
And Puff yes we have to announce early. I say this every year... we announce before any other show in the April/May time frame for any given year. Yet we always manage to have some other show over-write our dates (and we get blamed for it, even though we announced first.) I'm hoping we've gambled on a date that this won't happen.

Might be on top of PATZ, but I kind of hope it is! I could hit PATZ on Thursday & Friday, then I'm already halfway to the VFW for Saturday. No need to be at PATZ all three days anyway.
Quoted from TheLaw:PATZ is the weekend before.
Good deal! I like the back-to-back pinball weekends!
Am I right that the reservations will be available at http://vfwpinball.com/ and that would be sometime today?
This will be my first time attending!

Correct.

I heard something like thst
Note that for 2020, the show is being held only on two days instead of three. With admission limits in place and hence, fewer admission slots available, it is expected to sell out earlier than in prior years.
This sounds great! The guys at wizards world said great things about this! I got 3 tickets for my pin buds and I
Quoted from amkoepfer:Collin, when do we figure out the annual vfw tailgate plan? Ill bring the bud light!
We will NOT be drinking bud light. look forward to the tailgate again this year!!!

WE might not be, but i will be! Always a fun tailgate. And play a few games of pinball too!
FYI
just i case it is not perfectly clear
Total ticket cost (for each day) is $50,
but remember, the balance of the ticket ($40) must be paid at the door upon entrance.
So in essence you will be charged $10 for each ticket
when buying online when you are making your ticket reservation,
actual admission is $40 (cash) upon arrival/entering.
I suppose this way the VFW avoids having to pay fees (at least lesser fee)
to paypal and credit card companies. <smart idea>
Unfortunately I am not likely to be able to attend this year.
But hope to attend again in 2021, if the VFW and myself are still around.
Best pinball show out there
(for playing pinball with actual working games from all eras)
and definitely worth the money.
I am sure it will only get better, since I last attended a couple yrs ago.
Cheers!
I just booked at the Holiday Inn Express for ~$85/night directly on their website. Was some sort of "new years" special and I assume a pretty good deal given the VFW-cited typical rate of $130/night.

Looking forward to my first time here. Flying in from VA.

I went twice in 2018 and am returning this year. You will not be dissapointed...unless they run out of cole slaw at the concession stand. Get some for sure !
