Given that the ColorDMD guys have a patent on the screen matching (which is how ColorDMD knows when to show which colorized frame), I think they should start upgrading existing games to HD. The dots are great, but we've seen what is possible with the MMr / AFMr / MBr upgrades, and the games look great in HD. Either that, or release the software to recolor / upgrade the dots yourself.

Absolutely - but they are the patent holders, and frankly they will eventually run out of games. We're kinda getting there now... WOF?!

Aah, figures. Licensing would have to be in place, then. Arghh. So it's up to the DIYers again. Everybody taking their piece of the pie would drive the cost up to $1000 easy. Guess it's back to work on SmarDMD
