We'll let that slide since...uh...yeah...you have been coloring many of our must have games.

Quoted from PinMonk:They'd have to include a lot more memory on their boards, probably like 4-8x more. I'd totally be down with that, though. Once all Williams/Bally is colorized, making it all actual high-res is the next frontier.
Absolutely - but they are the patent holders, and frankly they will eventually run out of games. We're kinda getting there now... WOF?!
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:Given that the ColorDMD guys have a patent on the screen matching (which is how ColorDMD knows when to show which colorized frame), I think they should start upgrading existing games to HD. The dots are great, but we've seen what is possible with the MMr / AFMr / MBr upgrades, and the games look great in HD. Either that, or release the software to recolor / upgrade the dots yourself.
Planetary would likely be after ColorDMD for taking their IP if they took and modified/enhanced the images that Planetary owns. A license agreement would probably be needed. I believe ColorDMD gets around this presently because of their matching color to dots which has been discussed before on Pinside.
NASCAR.
It’s the only one of my 3 DMD games that is not done. The day they finish that one is the day I will place an order for three to do all my games.

Reading through the downloadable color ROM list, that is a no.

First post in the thread also shows all the ones not yet done.
Just because a game is not yet in color, don't let that stop you from installing a Sigma display. Twister looks awesome in HiRes. Twister 1 (resized).png

Aah, figures. Licensing would have to be in place, then. Arghh. So it's up to the DIYers again. Everybody taking their piece of the pie would drive the cost up to $1000 easy. Guess it's back to work on SmarDMD

Completely agree....Sigma in KISS looking great....will only get better

From what I remember of SmartDMD, it does not have the hardware/memory capabilities to do an upgraded image and was a lesser coloring vehicle than ColorDMD by most people's observations.
Quoted from PinMonk:I had a HARD time unloading a nice one @ $2200 in like 2013. It's not an expensive machine. Definitely on the D list.
In like 2013 I passed on a 1350 LAH to buy a 1200 NF, both of which has been colorized. Along with Black Rose, Gilligans Island...etc etc

Is that LCD or LED?
TZ! No, IJ! Wait! Transformers! Ok, then TWD!
Well, that’s my collection. I’m out.
Quoted from dirtbag66:Is that LCD or LED?
DCFAN is correct in that it is the LCD.

It looks good in color. I want to do it for ColorDMD cause the video mode would look a million times better.
Just lobbing another post of support for the Alvin G crowd. Preferably Mystery Castle, pretty please with a cherry on top.
Quoted from minishark:Mustang! Vroom vroom!
Another vote for Mustang. It’s turned into a keeper for me, which means it needs a ColorDMD.

Yes, this would be great!
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Sigma ROM is what you would want to load when installing it in LW3. That is what the displays ship with. You can choose any single color you want it to be. It is a LCD or LED display?
Edit. You also need a power tap for the LW3. http://shop.colordmd.com/data-east-power-adapter/
Finally had some time to install it yesterday. Looks better than the red dmd that was in before. Now the wait for the color rom begins

Excellent. I think light blue would look good.
I was wondering if any games will be done a second time? There is one I want but wish it had brighter colors in many places.

I'm still willing to do the work!
Quoted from RustyLizard:I was wondering if any games will be done a second time? There is one I want but wish it had brighter colors in many places.
I'm sure if you submitted feedback to them they would look into it. Changing a couple of colors in some scenes shouldn't be a big deal.

What games are you referring to and would that be the LED display?
Quoted from MK6PIN:Completely agree....Sigma in KISS looking great....will only get better
Have any screenshots of it in HiRes?
Quoted from PinballManiac40:What games are you referring to and would that be the LED display?
Don't want to upset the person who did it but I wish Scared Stiff had bolder colors. No, I buy all LCD. My eyes don't like the LED displays.
Elvis has been announced.
