Stealing the thunder from DCFAN like a boss!

The 2018's releases have come to a close, with the announcement of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. Was a pretty light year for covering what was on the poll in 2018, with only 5 out of 9 titles covered. Big Bang Bar, Breakshot, IJ4 and Pinball Magic all not covered. Maybe 2019 will be the year Capcom finally gets added to the mix?

Quite a few more should be able to be added to the poll. I'll go with Pinball Magic since I have a Sigma display that has been installed longer than in ID4.

A quick question for the colordmd experts here: I am planning to install the colordmd I have lying around in my lethal weapon. It was previously installed in a star trek. Do I need to load it with some "blank" software (and where can I find it) because lw3 doesn't have a color file yet or can I just install it?

Sigma ROM is what you would want to load when installing it in LW3. That is what the displays ship with. You can choose any single color you want it to be. It is a LCD or LED display?

Edit. You also need a power tap for the LW3. http://shop.colordmd.com/data-east-power-adapter/

Initially I was going to skip thread because it looked like only Wheel of Fortune and Kiss were options. It appears others did the same.

So I added Pinball Magic to the linked games list. It had the most votes next to the 3 games that were linked to this post.

Thanks! Didn't know what I was looking for, but because of your answer I've found the sigma rom between all other game roms.

Given that the ColorDMD guys have a patent on the screen matching (which is how ColorDMD knows when to show which colorized frame), I think they should start upgrading existing games to HD. The dots are great, but we've seen what is possible with the MMr / AFMr / MBr upgrades, and the games look great in HD. Either that, or release the software to recolor / upgrade the dots yourself.

You're shopping at the wrong place. I could buy them all day long for sub $2000 as recently as 3 years ago. Haven't checked recently.

I had a HARD time unloading a nice one @ $2200 in like 2013. It's not an expensive machine. Definitely on the D list.

They'd have to include a lot more memory on their boards, probably like 4-8x more. I'd totally be down with that, though. Once all Williams/Bally is colorized, making it all actual high-res is the next frontier.
