I’ve still got lots to do in order for us to be ready. But I’m pumped. It’s by far my favorite weekend all year. Me and all my buddies look so forward to this. It’s nice to be able from the sidelines get to enjoy something you helped create.

The good: NVRAM (no more batteries). New Magnet processor board that was created by "applejuice" out of the UK. Both magnets work beautifully. All LED on GI and playfield (although I totally screwed up at the under playfield LEDs are the ghosting variety [D'Oh Bart....early newbie pinhead mistakes]). Completely torn down and cleaned and wiped and waxed; I need to find my before and after pictures. New plunger, New drop target on target lock. New rings and bumpers. Just got in the mail 2pc spinning disk, scoop and mini-mag ring protector set from Cliffy; the back magnet needs it, the wear isn't too bad but could get worse. I didn’t add the Cliffy for the magnet spinner bc of the disc issue (see below).
The bad: The spinning disc with the first magnet works occasionally. In switch test it doesn't register or spin. Fuses are good for it; no loose wires. My next assumption is the motor on it is just worn out. It seems to work only during multi ball (if any has ideas while down there, my info will be on it). The target lock was replaced last summer but the bracket that the coil pushed it up and then comes down when hit has rubbed on the side of bracket and rubbed the sides. A cold solder/adhesive will patched it and the side screws were tightened to eliminate the issue; can't find a replacement part for it anywhere. The plastic ramp developed a crack on the side. Luckily we isolated it early and it won't spread. Still trying to fumigate; it belonged to a smoker who had for 20+ years (he died a few years back and his wife didn't want to sell but did). Not as heavy a smoke smell when we picked it up but still has a faint smell under the playfield.

I'm presuming I'll find something at the swap meet, but interested in any budget mid-80's through early-90's project pins.
Would prefer ones that need more cabinet and PF restoration than board work. Particularly fond of pre-WPC Williams (and similar Bally's) and not looking for any EMs.

That Simpsons is beautiful. You shouldn't have any trouble selling that. I hope to play it there too.
Seen the price and thought, This guy is out of his mind. But then I got to the pictures. And thought Damn, looks brand new. Very nice example of a Simpsons. Should sell easy.

Im brining a Gottlieb Spring Break for the show, but would like to try and trade or sell it while there.

Someone was looking for a Theatre Of Magic Pinball on here.
I actually went and saw this local one today that is listed on Craigslist.
I went to look at something else the seller had but eyeballed his Theatre Of Magic while I was there. It’s very nice. Cabinet looked flawless, great playfield, no wear. All original, no LEDs, no credit dot. Just a nice all around, clean original TOM. If someone is looking for a nice looking original Theatre Of Magic. This one is worth looking at.
I need a coin door for a Goldeneye with US wiring harness, if anyone has a spare sega/stern whitestar US coin door please let me know, thank you.
