Spent a lot of yesterday with setup and tuning / verifying the games in my rows are good. Only a handful with some (minor) issues remain. I’ll be back at it again this morning.

Thanks to everyone at setup yesterday and to those volunteering games.

I played a really great game of Safe Cracker and I won a coin with the number 10 on it that has a NWPAS logo on it!

Great job on the event! Been roaming around from pin to pin most of the day and playing tons of Wonka! Very friendly people and well organized event! May have to make this a yearly trek from Dallas! Cheers!

Three years in the making and KAHR.US is finally coming to the west coast!

Yea, that was a long day but it was way way way worth it! This show is packed with great games, talked with a bunch of really fun people, and I was energized by my seminar - can't wait to watch it on GeekGamer.tv to apply my own critical eye! The Firepower Duel is fun, fast, and incredibly engaging - I found myself wanting to peek over at the adjacent game to see what my competitor was up to... of course that's not needed because the displays tell you what's going on but that was my temptation.

Still on east coast time so I was up early, spent some time on a bike in the gym; now going to seek breakfast and walk back to the show. I strongly encourage anyone out there "on the fence" about coming to take the plunge - I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great show as I have come to expect from this crew! Love love love the setup! Do miss that bank of cherry Pinbulb games, always have Williams/Bally games with more lights and bling than the new stuff, think they might have had a Cactus canyon there, overall great show, (off site drama aside) will be back year after year, thank you guys for such a great show to look forward to all year, gonna make it to another show next year, where to go? Any up to par with this show?

Love NWPAS also, and this definitely was another great year so big thanks to organizers and volunteers. If you are thinking attending another show I highly recommend TPF in March. It’s even bigger than NWPAS with over 500 machines, of which almost all are pins. Equally well organized, and the venue is even better than the Tacoma convention center Imho

Hey everyone! Today is is the final day of the Northwest Pinball & Arcade Show. It's been a great weekend and the big team of volunteers all deserve a lot of praise and thanks for all the work they've put into the show, you all rock.

We'd love to have all hands on deck for load out at 3pm. Even if you can only stay for an hour or two, if you could help break down pins, wrap games, and help get the first set of trucks loaded and on their way, it would be a tremendous help to everyone!

If you brought games, who better to break them down and pack them up than you! You can make sure it's done exactly how you would do it. If you've never broken down a pin, there are tons of arcade games that need their cords put in them and to be wrapped in shrink wrap, then moved to the loading dock for transport. The transportation crew will be targeting the games that go on the first truckloads first and will be trying to direct people to those games. Please help if you can!

Sitting at the airport waiting for my flight back to Chicago, and I have to say I was quite impressed with the pinball community here in the pacific northwest. I've been to over a dozen shows over the last two years in cities a cross the country and this show was certainly one of the best. The organizers and team of volunteers running this show is second to none, as this is a really well run show. Any time I saw a game down it seemed that within minutes it was back up and running. The quality and condition of the games brought by collectors was excellent, and the approach the show has taken to get quality games to the show is a model I would love to see other shows adopt. I will also say the attendees seemed to be very good at following show rules. I really enjoyed getting to talk to so many pinball enthusiasts.

I get to watch a lot of people play pinball at shows (well at least on Houdini and Oktoberfest), and the skill level of players at the show was certainly above average. I have also never seen so many women at a pinball show, which was great to see and shows how strong the pinball community is here.

I was not able to pull the stats on Houdini before I left, but on Oktoberfest there were 441 games played with an average game time for 3:59. 3 players had games over 15 minutes. The average score was 165,470. Below you will find the high scores and other achievements on Oktoberfest.

Well they are calling my flight to board, so, time to wrap this up. I want to thank the organizers and volunteers for their tremendous hospitality, and I look forward to attending future NWPAS

Thanks for coming and the kind words Josh. We definitely take pride in our repair team and organization, we've been doing this a long time and always try to share our ideas and what we do with other shows. And yes, the women's pinball community is huge here and the women's tournament at our show is the biggest in the world, so it drew women from around the country. The show is mostly broken down now, but there will be trucks being loaded and games delivered until probably 2am this morning, thanks to our wonderful team of volunteers. I hope to see everyone photos and stories on this thread in the coming days. It's hard to imagine just a few hours ago this room was filled with over 400 games, dozens of vendors and thousands of people...

Thanks to everyone involved in putting on the show!

From my perspective I'm especially grateful to the transport, setup, teardown crew and local collectors who contribute games but ... EVERYONE involved plays a critical role to help make the show a success.

I was too busy to take any photos other than one (again from my perspective) showing my board survived a weekend of abuse!

Seven's Pinballorama on YouTube has been documenting the show, from organization meetings and repair parties to setup and break-down. He will have a full video of it sometime soon.

    https://www.youtube.com/user/MrGraylands

His "I Suck At Pinball" series has good info on game rules, and he has another series on how he rethemed a Black Knight into a Monty Python And The Holy Grail.

Seven's material will eventually become a documentary on collecting and games, centered around the NW Pinball & Arcade Show. Should be cool. He did time lapse filming of set up and tear down, a lot of filming during the event, interviews, and as John mentioned, filmed at planning meetings. I'm sure he has a ton of material to edit and weed down, I'm excited to see the finished product.

It was super cool to meet the folks, talk to vendors, meet Tim, Chris, Matt on the EM side, help setup, level, clean games. Hope to come down again and pitch in and have more fun next year.

Now I have to stretch out for a few weeks as I am taller than I was since the last time I played Asteroids
