Quoted from nwpinball:Show sponsor Nitro Pinball is bringin' it this year, check out their booth at the show. This lineup is killer:
. . .
Houdini
Oktoberfest
. . .
I'll be spending much of my time in the Nitro booth giving tips and pointers on both Houdini and Oktoberfest.
Looking forward to the show and to see if it lives up to the hype/reputation

Awesome, Tommy is the best. I'm expecting a big turnout based on the social media click thru data from Facebook and online ticket pre-sales.

Looking forward to meeting you Josh!
My No 1 objective for the show is to get time in on playing Oktoberfest. I sure hope there's more than one of them there or the waiting line is going to be awful long!
Is everyone as excited as I am about attending? I've been assembling Daughterboards to beef up inventory for the show and the last of that will be tonight. I'm skipping work tomorrow so I can cram as much stuff as possible into a suitcase for my el-cheapo Spirit flight early Friday morning. My visual aids are mostly all-set for my Friday seminar (Party Zone to Power Fix - Tales and Technical Details from KAHR.US) but one can always continue polishing the apple right up to showtime. Can't wait to see the Firepower Duel and maybe with the number of BKSOR at the show I'll get a game in at one point. Saw it and Wonka at Allentown but didn't stand in line to play either - have a booth to attend!
I'll be leaving home for BWI airport at 4:15 am EDT (or, 1:15 am Pacific time) to catch the 7:00 am departure. Land around 10:00 local and thanks to Lyft should be at the show by 11:00. My presentation is at 5:00 PM and Friday show closes at 11:30 which I'm sure will feel every bit like my 26th hour in the day. Here's hoping for some Zzzz's on the 5 hour flight out west!

I proactively gave my neighbor a $25 bottle of wine a few minutes ago and apologized for what will probably be a big loud truck and my games getting unloaded this Sunday night at 1 or 2am. She complained about it after the fact last year, when I think we unloaded at 2:15am, but this year she made it seem like no big deal since I told her ahead of time. And she loves wine!
Upping my communication game, even if it means having to go knock on neighbor's doors!
Jersey Jack Pinball, in support of it’s WA state distributors, will have a brand new Willy Wonka and Wizard of Oz Yellow Brick Road Edition in the common play area of the Northwest Pinball and Arcade show for attendees to enjoy! Word on the street is that Willy Wonka has already set down in Seattle and will be at the Seattle Pinball Museum on Thursday if you want a sneak peek and to get some play time in before the crowds this weekend.
Anyone need any last minute parts, boards, locks, feet or anything for your games this weekend? A bunch of us are packing up our parts and heading down to Tacoma tomorrow, let us know if you need anything to keep your games alive and awesome!
Wanna help out with show set up tomorrow? All the cool kids are doing it! And so are all the old crusty collectors like me, come one, come all! Tomorrow is the big load in day for the show. We always need more people to help with set up, especially in the early hours of 7am-12pm unloading trucks, building the lines of games, setting up pins, opening up arcade games to pull the cords out, putting together the drivers, arranging the cocktails, plugging games in, booting games up, making sure things are working, diagnosing basic problems, cleaning glass, etc. This happens all day and night Thursday and Friday morning from 7am until the show starts at noon. It's a lot of work, but it's also a lot of fun. There is lots of time chatting with other collectors, talking about games, working through problems, learning, mentoring, and being part of the show coming together.
Anyone interested in helping out, just show up and jump in, the more the merrier. You make this show happen! This is a community-run, volunteer-run, non-profit show and it kicks a lot of ass over most of the other national shows because of all of you that put the time and effort to make it so organized, big, good and fun!!!

Hey I should be there and settled in about 1 or 2 - text me so we can connect, I'd be happy to help. I think you have my phone #.

I think you should meet Seven from Vancouver B.C. too, he's doing a documentary about collecting, tournaments, the hobby and centering it around the show. He might be interested in talking to someone from Alaska about the collector/tournament scene there.

I know Seven - met him up here in Anch, doing some T&M for his company when they don't feel like sending him up here. Didn't know he was a pinhead when we met, then I watched some youtube videos and I was thinking... hey I know that guy!
I'll be loading up the second truck around noon. I should be down after 3 p.m. . I'll work on getting my shoe games bolted together if they're not already. Then someone could show me how to set up a pinball.
If you are posting Northwest Pinball & Arcade show photos to social media this weekend, please use the hashtag #nwpas Thanks!
Quoted from nwpinball:Who's gonna win this on Sunday?
Ahhh.... me!
But the real question is, what will I be able to get for it in trade?
Edit: I do like that Munsters theme song, though....
3 Willy Wonkas have arrived at the NW Pinball & Arcade Show! Big public showing by Jersey Jack, a couple of the WOZ Yellow Brick Road editions too. All three WiWos are slightly different too. (I just made up WiWo, I have no idea the shortcut term people are using)

100% packed and bags are in the car. Need to punch out for the night but I'm really kinda hyped up - I walked through my seminar with my son and he gave me some really good feedback. I've got to remember to bring this computer because it's the only place the presentation exists!
Anyone looking for a Skee Score set should stop by early - I could only fit a few in and my checked bag weighs in just under the limit at 49.5 pounds. I brought everything I could...

RobF... wish I could make it this year. Thanks for sharing your games!
It looks like a lot of amazing titles showing up.

Wish I could give this post 3 "thumbs ups" for the 3 Wonkas!
Set up is done for the night, we start back up at 7 am tomorrow, kids with auto immune deficiency problems come in at 9am for a few hours of play, then the general public at noon. Let's rock this!

Long night for you plus an early morning for me means I'm up and posting just an hour after you shut down. The setup photos look terrific. 4:06 AM Eastern; Good Morning everyone - my travel morning begins! Three years in the making and KAHR.US is finally coming to the west coast!

Smooth sailing - loading on the plane. Feeling “Spirit-ed” - in their “up front” big seats but like coach, there is no recline in these seats either.
