looking forward to #7
Been a great series and a great post season.
Fun times, some titty debacles, and even some fun stats.

Quoted from JodyG:I wish every season had this division alignment. More regional rivalries are exactly what baseball needs to remain a bit more relevant, IMO. I am a bit bummed there will be no Pittsburgh Blue Jays now. I was looking forward to seeing an actual major league team play home games there this year, as opposed to the usual AAAA farm team for the large market clubs.
honestly... I agree as of right now
Will be neat to see how this all goes.
I have no problem with a shortened and more intense season also.
I see no way the Covid does not wreck havoc, but if all goes forward then this is a cool experimental season at minimum.
Quoted from Chisox:Get some new material Jay.
I mean... it is accurate. And funny

Would have been funnier if you had cropped out The onion.
Half effort for a brewer fan is A+ in my book
Quoted from Deaconblooze:I didn't want cubs fans to get confused. I figured I better leave the onion reference in there so you don't all rush out and mail full frontal pics to your favorite club.
I gotta say, I wish we had more games against each other this year. 10? Just isn’t enough
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:3 days of baseball and I'm over the fake crowd noise/pink noise. Its an annoying hisss.
Rather just here players talk fart and burp.
Agreed
Quoted from rwmech5:Orioles, Marlins and Padres are in 1st! Love the new season.
Technically the Padres are the only team still undefeated but that may change today
Quoted from 27dnast:Marlins: apparently as many as 12 players have tested positive in the last 3 days... 2 coaches.
so what is the plan? Do the Marlins pause for the next 2 weeks?
Season over for them?
Phillies pause also now?
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Lorenzo Cain just opted out. I dont see how this season isnt scrapped by tomorrow.
Yeah. Appears done. And expected.
Enjoyed it while it lasted. Nice diversion
Quoted from Deaconblooze:MLB had all the pieces in place to make it work, a pretty distanced sport, team facilities ready to go in the south to minimize travel complications.. they just couldnt bring it together.
I hope the NFL heeds this warning. They're going to need to pivot hard to make their season work. As it stands, I have practically 0 confidence it will.
GB was just bragging they are prepped to have only 10k fans per game.
Keep in mind, this is about avg of what to expect there.
Quoted from Chisox:Yeah I’ll begrudgingly give some props, Yu Darvish was absolutely filthy last night. I like to watch him pitch and succeed because he got hosed the hardest by the Astros. Everybody thought he was tipping his pitches and it cost him probably 20-30 mil.
Don’t worry, he has cost the cubs plenty of money before finally showing up.
The past 2 games have been the best of the season. Make me wish it was a full season. The cubs look really well rounded and in a normal season would have better chance of working out the bull pen issues.
For now, I just accept that 2020 is a wash and am thankful to have the diversion and entertainment (along w MLB not allowing fans which was the right decision).
Quoted from Chisox:Just here to hype the White Sox some more.

congrats and awesome!
