I like your attitude. Plus, I’d like to see Dusty Baker do well. I have fond memories of him as a kid. It’s too bad he had to manage two teams I despise. No one wants to see Tampa Bay or the White Sox make the World Series. Can you imagine a Milwaukee vs. Tampa Bay series?

Dusty Baker is well respected in baseball….if there is anyone deserving to be in a WS he is the guy….he ain’t got many years left as a coach. He is just so well regarded from anyone in baseball that has worked with him. That’s all you hear….nothing negative. Now you can critique his coaching and question a few choices but overall he knows what he is doing.

They were the youngest team last year. They added Lynn, Hamilton, Hendricks and all the dudes at the deadline this year that skewed them to the middle of the pack. The core is still young. Didn’t really see the game today because you know…it’s on at fucking 1:00 and work and stuff. Apparently my guys aren’t ready yet (White Sox). Playoff baseball will expose and magnify your weaknesses like an electron microscope. You’ve got to be tight in all facets of the game or you’re gonna lose. As much as I hate the fucking Astros, they are a very good team, especially in the playoffs. Their infield defense (including catcher) is excellent. They always have a low strikeout rate and are elite at working the count. Nothing more frustrating than seeing the other team grind and make your pitcher throw 30+ pitches in an inning then your guys come up and make 3 outs on 6 pitches. I think walks are the most underrated stat in baseball. Walks killed the Sox the last 2 games. I’m just spewing random shit, I have no point haha.
