i like the fact that the jays fans pre drink %70 say they do which is #1 , that's because beer cost way too much at the ball park

    #452 3 years ago

Chisox fans will be toasting their team this year. Young and exciting, my dark horse AL world series team.

Baseball season is upon us, it’ll be nice to see fans in the stands again. Any Series predictions? I like LAD vs Toronto, LAD champs. That team is absolutely loaded.

I’d be happy w that! My parents, years ago, gave me a Dodgers winter coat. On one sleeve, it lists the years they were champs. I’d like to add last years to it..

I like the Jays but injury bug is biting them already. Nostalgic pick is Dodgers v Yanks. Young, exciting, up and coming series Padres v White Sox. Best day of the year everyone's in 1st!

    Let’s go!

I like the way you think! I’m stoked about my team but have been let down before so I’ll wait to start shit talking until week 2 or 3

Hoping Cole can bring home #28 back to the Bronx. Been too long!

    #458 2 years ago

Lindor will be a Met for life, just signed a 10 yr/341 million contract.

    Let's go O's!

Anyone want to wager if Chris Davis will have a ba over .175 this year?

Maybe if they paid him more than a measly $24mm/yr, he would have some incentive to play better.

    #463 2 years ago

last year before an very like strike

    #464 2 years ago

    Straight to the bottom!

They’re looking real strong, should be a playoff team.

    Go Cubs!

I literally spent my whole morning cutting the cord and switching to ATT streaming as it’s the only way I can get Marquee network.

    Go Brew Crew

I settle for reading game results in the local paper (Seattle Times), or go online, unless a Cubs game is being broadcast nationally.

Oh for the days living in Chicago and every Cubs game was on Channel 9 (WGN)!

    Jays-3 Yanks-2.. Where's the panic button???!!!

I bet the under 95.5 wins for the Yankees this year. Only 67 more losses to go!

    #471 2 years ago

Hope you bet life changing money not peanuts!

    #472 2 years ago

    Let's go Nats!

    #473 2 years ago

Have a soft spot for the ex-Expos.

    #474 2 years ago
    Quoted from dug:

That LAD/Padres rivalry should be a good one for years. It was getting nice and salty during that playoff series last year.

    #475 2 years ago
Quoted from rwmech5:Have a soft spot for the ex-Expos.

They got screwed in 94, best record in baseball with a stacked team, a few HOFers on that team. If not for the strike you can only wonder if they’d still be in Montreal.

Might as well root for the Twins while you’re at it.

Let’s go Bucs! 1/50 wins... well let’s hope it’s not that bad...

    #480 2 years ago

Seems like something weird always happens on opening day. Bellinger’s rbi single that went over the wall, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

As a Pirates fan, I am relieved they at least will not be 0-162 this year.

I think that lineup isn’t half bad. If everyone plays to potential well give some teams a run for their money. The pitching doesn’t have a #1 and 2 but if they work some things out can be solid.

Mets fan here and our first series with the Nats has been wiped out by Covid, bummer.
And is Lindor really that good? I was hoping the Mets were going to sign Springer for CF and Realmuto at catcher in the offseason. I’m not sure how to feel about the Lindor signing.

Lindor is very good. Is he worth it? Who knows? Your new owner has unlimited funds and wants to outspend the Yankees. Plus you have the best starter in baseball (DeGrom) I’d say things are looking up.

The minute the Wilpons were out the door, things were much better.

Was happy to hear that Joe Musgrove threw the 1st no hitter for the Padres Friday night..even if I’m a Dodgers fan.

A first in Padres history - very cool!

Congrats to Joe Musgrove and the Padres organization!

Yet another former Pirates pitcher who lights it up as soon as they go elsewhere.

Dodgers vrs Padres game 2 about to kick off, last night was amazing.
It's always fun to see how the Padres will find a new way to melt down and blow it.

That was indeed like an April playoff game last night.

    #493 2 years ago

I stuck with the whole game, but I thought the Pads had it won 3 or 4 times.

Pays to keep watching, otherwise you miss the crazy stuff late in games.

Mooky made the play of the game tonight. Check out the highlights.

    Dodgers 8 game win streak.

That catch to end the game was insane. Again, that’s some intense shit for April.

Wake me up when the yanks start playing for real.

Now that a good chunk of the season has been played, I think the 2 biggest surprises are how good the Giants are and how bad the Twins are. I didn’t see either one of those coming.
