Will the streaming focus on the just the finals? Do you have enough announcers? Nothing worse than streaming and no commentary.

I wasn’t calling you out. I’ve watched before and I’m going to be attending for the first time. I’m really looking forward to playing in the tournament even though I’m going to get mine handed to me. I like to hear the chatter, play by play, insight and knowledge of seasoned tournament players. It makes for a robust experience.

I just released my latest podcast, The Classic Pinball Podcast, and talk a little about the tournament. Hopefully I will be able to put together a show prior to Houston to make people aware of all the great events that are part of this show.

New Hampshire. I’m more of a classics player. It looks like the machines in the tournament are anything but classics. I’m approaching with no expectations and having fun in Texas!

I could use some help on food choices, coffee etc. close to the venue. Done some exploring and it sounds like there are some terrific choices not far from the hotel.

I know if you give up the good places you’ll have to wait. Be a champ and give some suggestions. I know I’ll have only so much time but I’m willing to try and get to them all. Micro brewery’s welcome.

I want to thank Keith Christensen for the interview he did with me today about the Houston Arcade Expo. I’m in the process of putting the finishing touches on the podcast. I’m looking to drop sometime tomorrow.

If you want to hear about the show and some personal stories from both of us I invite you to tune in.

The Classic Pinball Podcast can be found on most podcast players.

    Podcast will drop later today.

    Episode is now available.

Thanks to all who have tuned in. Lots of new listeners.

    Shill and bump:

If you have not listened to The Classic Pin Podcast I interview the founder, Keith Christensen about the Expo.

    Information in above post.

I just posted an episode recorded this summer with Eric Stone IFPA #13 ranking but it is not about pinball. It’s his love for coin pusher and Frogger redemption games with Dave and I doing our normal chat. Something completely different than our other shows.

Thank you. Can’t wait to get to Houston. The Eric Stone Frogger Episode is becoming our fastest listened to program. Thanks to all.

Go listen to the interview I did with Keith about the show. I came away thinking that Keith really is into music and likes it loud. The music (bands and dj’s) is more at night than during daylight hours. Take a listen and hear for yourself: The Classic Pinball Podcast.

What about the swap meet on Saturday? Any working or project games for sale?

I’m flying so I know I’m going to find a game for sale I want and can’t get it home unless I can get it shipped.

    #177 4 years ago

This is why I know I’m going to love this show. Pinball, music and a swap meet. I wish I lived within driving distance. I have boxes of classic Bally SS parts. This is one of the only free swap meets I know of at a pinball/arcade show. Others who run shows should take note. Keith had the right idea when he started. This is a big benefit to the community.

Bump: The Classic Pinball Podcast interviews the shows founder Keith Christensen if you missed it. Obviously a shill post and public service. Worth a listen if you are attending or just curious.
