    Quoted from Chisox:

Anyone else love college football around here?

Looking forward to another year of Overrated Michigan getting their ass wHipped; they looked like shit yesterday. I can never decide whether I like them to lose early to get it over with, or trick everyone into thinking they're good and getting blowed-out at the end.
I think Wisconson should dispatch them in a few weeks though.

    #5 4 years ago
    Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:

    So what happened at Michigan?

The usual, letting a super weak ass team hang around all day. Their QB strating off with "heisman buzz" even though I thinks it's kind of accepted he's not good and probably wont stay the starter all year.

    2 weeks later
    #11 4 years ago

Going a hard beat down on Mich today. Also calling a fake qb injury to start McCaffery in the 2nd half

    #16 4 years ago

Team is so obvious it's painful. If a Jackwagon like me csn tell you all this shit you'd think all the other coaches know. I mean his dumb ass old school FB run everyone knew was coming and he fumbled it. 5 minutes in game over... I love it.

    #18 4 years ago

Haha and then Wisconsin RB draw for td to rub a deck in Harbaughs face.

    Quoted from MotorCityMatt:

    Yea, we suck this year.

Theyve sucked every year for over a decade.

    #20 4 years ago

Uff I hate Michigan and I didn't like that hit at all.

    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Mich St plays at Oh St Sat night (ABC tv), and Oh St is favored by 20, with the over/under at 49 points.
Seems like it would be good to take Mich St and the 20 points. Mich St is ranked 25th, so they must be pretty good, eh?

Problem is State's Defense is not as good as it is supposed to be and their offense is every bit as bad as it should be.
Until last week Indiana, MSU had some crazy stat where they led the nation in holding teams under 30 points....for like 25+ games or something; and I think they were right at a .500 record at that point so that tells you their offense is atrocious.
That's a lot of points for sure, but have you seen OSU? Fucking scary.

    #30 4 years ago
    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Is anyone else rooting for Iowa Hawkeyes to beat the Wolverines in Michigan this Sat?
Mich is only favored by 3-1/2 points.
Mich has a tough schedule again this year, with 6 of the 12 games against good teams ranked in the top 25.

Michigan is a sack of hot garbage with the most overrated coach since another famous Michigan man.
Michigan actually had an easy schedule this year having Iowa, MSU & OSU at home. If this game was in Iowa it would be a lead pipe lock for the black & gold, I would imagine they'll still win.

That schooner wipe out was awesome. That chic ate it hard though

    #37 4 years ago
    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

They don't even bother to check if she is ok, or to help her up off the turf.

The Old West is a rough place!

    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Mich vs Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington, IN, Sat Nov 23rd 3:30pm et on Espn.
Mich favored by 9-1/2 to 10 points. Go Hoosiers!

This could be a classic Mich trap game.

    1 week later
    #44 4 years ago

OK, finally MICH OSU today. Buckeyes 9.5 on the road? That seems a tad close to me.

And by tad I mean 20 points.

    #45 4 years ago
    Quoted from TheLaw:

OK, finally MICH OSU today. Buckeyes 9.5 on the road? That seems a tad close to me.
And by tad I mean 20 points.

    20+9.5....pretty close on that one

    #47 4 years ago
    Quoted from MotorCityMatt:

What a Iron Bowl. And fuck ohio cheaters.

They'll be talking aboot that suspicious home cooking last second added in the iron bowl for years.

The bad news for you is michigan will be much worse next year.
Maybe one decade some one will give a shit.

    #50 4 years ago
    Quoted from Rando:

...(Clemson hasn't lost a game since before last season, still vexxed that they're ranked 3...)

UNC game hurt them, and their SOS is weaker that OSUs = 3rd.

    #52 4 years ago

The last 11 years have been great to live in Ann Arbor as a townie

    #54 4 years ago
    Quoted from bssbllr:

Seems like a good day to live in Ann Arbor, MI. I see long lines at some of the stores and it’s a sign times are definitely changing.

Oh ha...you meant the reefer; sorry i missed that.

But yeah it's always been a small civil fine around here but for sure glad all the stores are finally opening up and selling. This town like plenty of other could use some relaxation.

    #68 4 years ago
    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

Ohio St looked like the best team this year to me. Was surprised they struggled early with Wisconsin.

The thing that worries me a bit aboot them is they can start out slow.
THis LSU shit is super impressive though, can't wait.

    2 weeks later
    #73 4 years ago
    Quoted from Chisox:

    That OSU/Clemson game was legit.

Had to watch it delayed and the recording cut off right after Clemson last TD
But damn that was a game indeed. Even better than at the beginning it looked like it could go the way of the LSU game.

    #80 4 years ago

How can you even put a pregame package together and say "Legendary coaches Bryant & Schembechler."
    FFS what a joke.

How bad will this one be today?

EDIT: Full credit for Mich just moving the ball at will.

    #81 4 years ago

Oh man, so pathetic; Harbaugh standing there with his thumb up his ass and Saban running circles around him.
He is such a bad coach...running all over Bama the first half and then let's stop that in the 2nd! He just keep letting Patterson throw, he's been horrible for 2 years but maybe this town will be diff'rent
    God I love it.

    #83 4 years ago
    Quoted from Chisox:

Let’s go Badgers! All kinds of weird shit happening in this one.

Yeah this is a good one right here.

    1 week later
    #88 4 years ago

    Fuck it's been long enough.
Ready for a good game, but no idea whom will win. Haven't watched a ton of their games, but every time I do they are both non stop awesome so that doens't help me much.
Due to their schedules I would guess LSU would win, but got no dog in this race; just looking for a good game.

    #95 4 years ago

That was an asskicking; Very impressive.

    #99 4 years ago

They won't be able to help themselves from putting Michigan's rank ass higher than 20.

    9 months later
    #105 3 years ago

Ahhh big 10 football, finally we can get back to the 1 team with a chance league.
Michigan has 8 qbs on their roster. I dont know what the means but it must be insane

    #108 3 years ago
    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

    I
Mich St by 10.5 over Rutgers.

    Wow

    #111 3 years ago

    bwahahaa Michigan. Worst caching....EVERY ...YEAR.

Honest question, you think Harbaugh knewm they were down 10 points at the end?

    #113 3 years ago
    Quoted from Chisox:

... I honestly don’r know what goes through that dude’s head...

    Uh huh....

    Quoted from Chisox:

... Every year I think they might finally have it figured out....

    Hmmm....whom's head has rhe problem?

    Quoted from Chisox:

... guess that. beat down vs. Minn wasn’t that impressive after they lost to Maryland (!!)

Oh man and MSU just getting murdered by Iowa.

This is so great.. I'm getting a Milton jersey after this

    #118 3 years ago

I finally remembered this game and watched my recording....they'll be talking aboot this game for decades

    1 month later
    #119 3 years ago

Trouble in paradise, Uofm ducking OSU so they don;t have enpugh games to go to the Playoff!!!
Oh I guess they'll just change the number of games tomorrow

    1 week later
    #120 3 years ago

Edit: just when it looks that way they're still right in it

    Getting wacky.
Players getting endorsement numbers, Texas & Ok bolting for SEC (allegedly)

    #123 2 years ago

My first thought as well, but with way more teams making playoffs, they can say they lost to Bama & Clemson instead of Okstate & Tulsa (or whomever is in that league)

    #125 2 years ago

I feel like every championship is in Indy

    1 month later
    #127 2 years ago

    Chisox

You wanna keep this rolling or start a new thread?
OSU MIN seems to miss a big targeting call...or not? Not even the announcers can agree but that's usually because one is a former roid rager.

Anywayyy....for once I cant bitch aboot Michigan being overrated. No top 25 ranking, so peeps think they sneak under the radar...bwa.

    #129 2 years ago

    Damn dude, you're connected!

Western is getting 17 against Michigan...hmmm.

EDIT: I hope you didn't have to feed this group for the last 13 years

    #132 2 years ago

Well then...looks like MSU may have found a RB this year.

    #134 2 years ago

Well Indiana seems like a 1 year fluke

    #139 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

    Michigan already looks improved.....!

Sounds like Lions fans have meged with UofM fans

    #143 2 years ago

This OSU QB needs some seasoning fo sho

    #145 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

It never gets old watching Ohio State lose.

As long as they get it together for UofM

    #147 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

I thought you were a Harbaugh fanatic?

Ha, no you didn't. I'm a townie goddammit!

EDIT: I mean I do love him because it's comical; the way i learned to love Hoke & Richrod

    #149 2 years ago
    Quoted from tomdrum:

OSU gave up 7+ yards a carry on the ground. Either the Ducks have a great O-line, and amazing running backs ....

They very may well, but didn;t their #1 RB not even play?

    Quoted from tomdrum:

    PSU won easily BTW.

Penn ST Looked good, but the issue is the coach. He'll blow it at some point.

    #152 2 years ago
    Quoted from Slugmeister:

Huskies couldn’t score playing in the Puppy Bowl.

    God this offense is horrible.

    Quoted from tomdrum:

LOL, OSU fears PSU much more than MU every year.

    Obviously; what's your point exactly?

    #154 2 years ago

I'd have to think hard to come up with a game with 2 worse qbs facing each other than this Wash UM game.
I'd say the high school game i watched last night but 1 out of 3 wasn't bad.

    #156 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

We’ve got legal gambling all over this state.

Fuck I can hardly get a crappy daytime lawyer commercial anymore!

    #158 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Michigan better get a passing game going, maybe losing Ronnie Bell is a bigger deal than I thought. But I’ll take the W tonight.

Waiting for Harbaugh to start a capable QB and actually give him the tools to thrive isn't a good bet.

    #161 2 years ago
    Quoted from topkat:

I didn’t see the usc play just in general the rule doesn’t seem right

He literally launched himself head first into the guy. It was a like he was demonstrating how to get the penalty

    #163 2 years ago
    Quoted from tomdrum:

... Alas it will never happen because traditions die hard even though OSU has won 15 of the last 16.

True, PSU has won 5 of the last 16th, stellar!
I'm all for PSU vs UM, call it the molester bowl!

    #165 2 years ago
    Quoted from tomdrum:

Way to show some class. I guess sexual assault is something you find funny.

I can't believe they haven't ripped down Bo's statue yet. I expect more out of the kids these days.

    #167 2 years ago
    Quoted from Chisox:

I had no idea what you guys were talking about until I Googled it. Good lord is that awful.

When Bo's son told Bo the doctor was sexyally assaulted him he told his son to "Toughen up."
Then when he wouldn't stop talking sboot it Bo punched him in the chest.
What grit! I'm beginning to think everyone with a statue is an asshole.

    #173 2 years ago

    Damn MSU is impressive

    1 week later
    #181 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Michigan not looking good in the second half against Rutgers.

It's almost like having a QB that can't run or throw isn't working for them!

    #190 2 years ago

Wow MSU escapes without a classic Nebraska let down game.
    Solid win

    #192 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Thorne didn’t look as good in the second ....

Looked bad, but the dumb shit is what kills me more than anything. Obvious Reed didn't make that 3rd down catch, RUN A GODDAMN PLAY before a replay happens. Seriously not that hard to grasp

    2 weeks later
    #203 2 years ago
    Quoted from weaselfest:

Iowa has yet to allow an opposing starting quarterback to finish a game this season.
    6-0. Who'd a thunk it?

Woe, that is a stat you don't hear too often.
    Great win today.

    #215 2 years ago

There goes Alabama....until the final 4 is released

    #218 2 years ago
    Quoted from Chisox:

Man I legit feel awful for Spencer Rattler. Heismann favorite and projected possible #1 in the draft to booed at home repeatedly and finally benched. Then your replacement that your fans were chanting for all year (freshman) goes in and leads the team to one of the greatest comeback victories in program history. Ouch.

At least he can portal to another team.

Looks like a pretty bland weekend; and that's when the trap games strike!

    #241 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Michigan is privileged to have Dan Dierdorf as the color commentator...

HA! I think Marble Mouth Dan is the worst commentator i have ever heard not named Jim Brandstatter....every goddamn play sounds like they just won the Rose Bowl.

EDIT: I think I'd rather listen to Pat Caputo talk; whihc is saying something.

    #247 2 years ago

I feel Michigan has 3 Loses on tap

    #249 2 years ago

    haha Penn State

    #258 2 years ago

    MSU 37 - Um 17

    #260 2 years ago

I'll tell you whats weird with this kids these days. Whole generation of UM fans that just accept losing and don't make up any excuses; not like our days!

    #261 2 years ago

    BOOOOOM!

Harballs record against ranked teams dropped to 2-9.

Fitting since it matches Bo's Rose Bowl record

That was one of the best football games I've ever seen.

    1 week later
    #264 2 years ago

Baylor & Auburn go down and of course State.
State outcome was not much of a shocker really; but I actually think it will work better for them against OSU.

    #266 2 years ago
    Quoted from Chisox:

Purdue beating MSU was the least surprising upset in recent memory....

    Right behind Iowa.

    Quoted from Chisox:

MSU had no business being in the top 5.

As a top 4 team, no way. But these rankings are always placeholders anyway. They know all the division games are coming up and it'll work itself out.

    #270 2 years ago
    Quoted from TheLaw:

Penn ST Looked good, but the issue is the coach. He'll blow it at some point.

Fake FG on the 3...this is the problem with him.

    1 week later
    #275 2 years ago

I imagined it was going to be bad but dammmmmmn. Save some beatdown for UofM guys.

    #279 2 years ago

I didn't know MSU had the worst passing defense in the country till before the game. No wonder Mich QB looked decent when they played.

    #282 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Surprised to see Oregon as underdogs tonight

    Pretty weird eh?

    #284 2 years ago

Wow. So Michigan will go to #4, lose by 28 to OSU, and Cincinnati will get in!
Or knowing OSU/UM next week they just move Cincinnati to #4 now.

    #287 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

James Franklin signs new 10-year contract to stay on as Penn State coach. I wonder what Nittany Lions fans think about that?

    Uffffffffff

    #313 2 years ago

    Impressive UofM; very impressive

    #322 2 years ago

That was a straight up ass kicking.

    #327 2 years ago

Bama could be having an issue today

    #332 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

And I assume win next game will get him some more.

Is it too early to talk aboot a trap game?

    #338 2 years ago

    This Bama game is nutty

    #341 2 years ago

    Iowa is horrible

    Wow Bama wins in 4OT

    #343 2 years ago

    That QB looked huge

    #346 2 years ago

You think ND is going to jump over Mich after they beat the #2 ranked team?

    #350 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Here’s at least one source that disagrees, predicting 1. Georgia, 2. Michigan, 3. Bama, and 4. Cinci.
    https://fansided.com/2021/11/27/projected-cfp-rankings-alabama-beats-auburn-iron-bowl/
I agree with TheLaw, I don’t see how ND leapfrogs Mich after the win over #2 Ohio State.

Yeah I can see them dropping Bama and taking the SEC winner.

    #378 2 years ago

If the game is close then Georgia to 4 and Cincy out

    #397 2 years ago

It's not that easy..."the 3 highest ranked teams" will still be a problem.

    #399 2 years ago
    Quoted from pch3727:

No matter how many teams they let in, the first guy out is always gonna be mad. No system will ever solve that. My problem with the CFP right now is that there is no standard for how they choose the 4 teams. They can justify whoever they want. At least with an eight team playoff, if you win your conference you are guaranteed a spot.

Oh shit man they'll just make up some other way to pick the teams they want They literally just said they can keep a team out when their coach leaves early.
Leading to the second guy left out got the shaft this time. ND is behind OSU?

    #403 2 years ago

Wow that was an insane close ending.
Guess its not a penalty calling a TO if you don't have one.

    #406 2 years ago

I dont think Bama is leaving the top 4, no matter what

    #412 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Possibly. It would be the first 2 loss team to make it.

    That's OK, always a first.

    #414 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Your take on conference championships not meaning anything is absurd, otherwise there would be a 2 loss team in every year, which has never happened.

They are very bizarre hot takes for sure. Thinking Mich would stay in the top 4 with a loss; just weird.

    #417 2 years ago
    Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

I almost want them to lose so we can see, but not really.

I mean there are literally hundreds of people on TV talking aboot this...it isn't a mystery

    Quoted from Jaybird815:

I think they’ll win as well, although it is Michigan and Harbaugh.

I expect it to go just like MSU's playoffs. They'll make it in and then get trucked.

Of course it is possible they blow it tonight...god that would be hilarious.

    #422 2 years ago

If they're the beat 2 teams its fine.

So does Bama jump UM for #1 if they win?

    #427 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Never mind the conference championship doesn’t mean anything, nobody will move spots.

Ah thats right, I forgot they are locked.
I dont know why all the announcers dont know these facts.

    #449 2 years ago
    Quoted from wolverinetuner:

Back to the action, it looks like Michigan’s doing a good job getting to Petras so far this half.

This looks like UM playing the Loins.

    #469 2 years ago
    Quoted from vicjw66:

..Hopefully with a decent coach now at USC that will change and alabama will go back to being what they were when USC was great.

Ha, maybe if they get Saban.

    3 weeks later
    #475 2 years ago

Man that Tennessee Purdue call was a little iffy,
But that's the problem with forward progress, which other than spotting a ball and false starts, is the most widely varied call

    #478 2 years ago
    Quoted from bobmathuse:

What's the latest over/under on the final number of bowl games that will be Covid-cancelled?

We're getting to the meaningful ones now so that should die down

    #483 2 years ago

Should never blow the whistle on a play like that anyways.

Ok so Cincy is getting trucked hard today right?

    #485 2 years ago

    Michigan gonna roll.

(Reverse JuJu is all i have left)

    #486 2 years ago

ESPN Command Center on ESPN2 is kind of cool

    #488 2 years ago

I mean seriously, is anyone watching this Cincy 1st possession? The whistle has NEVER blown, these plays go on forever...sideways, backwards, under a pile.

    #493 2 years ago

    44 yard TD was sweeeet

    #501 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

Kind of as expected, nice to see a mid major get a chance though

Enjoy it, that'll be the last one for a decade.

    #503 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jaybird815:

The Browns are not a very good team, Vic

They're gonna smoke the Brownies by 21.
Smoke them like Mexican Brown...damn those were the days.

    #514 2 years ago

    Dude...this Rose Bowl is nutty!

    #515 2 years ago

Oh and that Orange bowl was awesome. Perfect way to end a shitty year

    #517 2 years ago

Wow that Rose Bowl was one of the funnest games I've watched

Oh man that dude was alright.

Anyway, great Georgia win; a great game.
The whole Stetson Heyseed VI story is awesome too. Basically The Waterboy movie without Sandler which is always nice.

Well Mich OSU is coming up shortly. With Blake Corum I think Mich can do the same thing as last year and run it right down their throats and win.
OSU can peter out on Offense and they don't get the ball a lot they can be stale and sputter out. Harballs obviously been keeping his offense vanilla as shit so he can open a totally look this game and surprise them. Even if JJ can throw, which is kind of unkown, the WR are pretty shit and don;t help much. Mich DBs don;t have much so you figure a massive advantage on the other side.
Word is Corum is not playing though, so OSU by 24.
If Corum plays I think Michigan could do it; so in that case I'll only say OSU by 12.

    #643 1 year ago

Harballs probably personally shot up Corum's knee for this one. Gonna blow the thing completely out.

No one ever cares Whom wins the big 10 West; that's the way they designed it.

    #702 1 year ago

Shocking to no one that the Playoff is officially gone to 12 teams in 2024.

For me this is just too much and too dumb. You have a small chance OSU could sneak in the Playoff after getting manhandled by Michigan and get a rematch (they don;t deserve.) this is going to happen a lot with 12 teams and it will matter less for loses since you can throw in all the 2 loss SEC teams.
But maybe I'm wrong and it will be great. Maybe trying to avoid kids not playing in bowl games...but this seems like it would hurt bowl games numbers in general? or maybe the playoff starts early and those teams go to bowl games? Just more chance for upsets I guess?

    #705 1 year ago
    Quoted from elcolonel:

$ grab, but will make Conference championship games, a little more important.

How do you think? No matter what happens in Big 10 Michigan would still get in. Georgia & LSU would probably both get in no matter what too right?

Oh I see your other post you think divisions would go away? Hmm, interesting. I don;t know if that'll work in the Big 10 that is specifically set up to keep OSU/MI away from each other at the top.

    #709 1 year ago
    Quoted from elcolonel:

If LSU wins SEC championship game, and TCU wins their conference, look for for OSU, Michigan, Georgia, TCU to be the 4, seeded in that order.

    #711 1 year ago

    #713 1 year ago

Yeah didn't TCU have to come back from 28-10 down to Kansas State already? Could be tough. USC already lost to Utah so those 2 could get wacky and then BAM, OSU slips back in!

They are perennial fellow kings of the Big 10 which brings prestige, money, and national championship potential every year. If they left, they would need to take teams like OSU & PSU with them (similar to OU & UT moving to the SEC), since leaving OSU behind to solely reign the Big 10 would be the gift of all time to that school.
They cheated, they got caught, now they just need to take their lumps and move on with things.
