So the fighting among Pinsiders over which titled deserves ColorDMD treatment next has become a Slug Fest.
Mystery Castle please. The classic game would absolutely SHINE with a colordmd. The community of Alvin G fans and owners would be ever so thankful. Thank you in advance ColorDMD!
Ghostbusters has been announced.

Yeah, but it hurts that WHOdunnit is one of the last four.

Easily some of the greatest dots ever.
Quoted from Rondogg:Pretty impressive that there are only 4 WMS and 2 DE games left.
There weren't that many DE games with a DMD, and 5 of those are the half-height models that still remain.
Still, it's cool to see categories get closed out.

Yes, and only 60 full or large size DMDs remaining blowing well past the 50% mark of games colored.

Looks like Thunderbirds needs to be added to list!
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Looks like Thunderbirds needs to be added to list!
Why? They clearly have not mass produced the game yet. It is also a little pathetic that any new game comes with a DMD.

Looking forward to 2019 as the Pinside poll will allow more than 9 selections now as opposed to the 9 selections when this thread was created.
Another shout out for Mystery Castle please. Just throw one bone to the Alvin G and Co. group of games to knock it off the list.
I have a profound respect for all the work that goes into coloring any game, but I feel these animations in MC are so basic at times, that it wouldn't be as big of a detailed project like TFTC or other more advanced graphics games. I could be wrong and don't want to make it seem like I'm underestimating the task at hand.
If it's a matter of the ColorDMD team of designers not having an example to use for the creation, I will loan my machine for the creation if necessary if it was a somewhat local situation.
Thanks! ColorDMD is one of the best mods you can buy for any game, hands down.
It's more of a matter of work needing to be done to get support in place for the video signal on gottlieb/alvin g games. They'll get to it eventually. Probably.

Question, are the games that are remaining to be colored generally harder to do the coloring or should it be about the same? It seems like the pace of releases has slowed down a bit. Does ColorDMD need access to some more games that are a little harder to track down? I count 11 colored so far this year. For historical context: 18 were done in 2017, 20 in 2016, and 16 in 2015.

I get your point. But quantity doesn't really count. Wolly was done.

Ahhh gotcha, that makes sense. Fingers crossed that one day it'll happen. I'll be patiently waiting.
Thank you!

Wooly was colorized by the programmer himself. That wasn't a contract project like most games. It runs on the ColorDMD system, but is not a standard colordmd situation.

There are several different factors contributing to the volume of releases, many of which I wouldn't really feel comfortable getting into as it's not my place. But for me personally, I've taken it easy for a bit after the sprint of last year. Things are still always moving forward though.

Whatever the factors, we appreciate all the hard work you and the other color guys have done. It really makes a difference in the games as much if not more than any other mod.

I literally could add about 15 or 20 more games to the list if it was including games that failed to launch beyond an initial handful. When I composed the list I decided to omit games like Kingpin because there just is not enough of them to expect ColorDMD to bother. For a game like that the hard work will likely have to be done by an owner. Maybe after every other game is done, somebody from ColorDMD would be bored and jump on it, who knows.
If Thunderbirds starts to have significantly more owners showing up then I will add it to the list also.

Good thing there is still 2 more months in this year.
Someone could get a whole lot of respect if they'd color the dots for WHOdunnit.
Because once it was available in color we'd all be wondering, you know...who done it?

But once it's released, you won't have to wonder because the release information will specify.

Congrats on another one completed. Looks like the 20 people who voted will be happy. I hope you're on another streak to completing another before year end.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:We are down to 4 that are still on the poll....Stern IJ4, Pinball Magic, Breakshot and KISS. Since I own IJ4, I'm hoping it will be coming next out of these four and being that the Sigma display works in it.
My guess for Eric's next would be Party Zone.
Quoted from guss:Pinball Magic and Breakshot
Sigma works good enough for me right now.

I bought every thing I needed from Kim, But I didn't buy the color DMD yet
