All I've done to this Flash Gordon since I bought it is clean the playfield glass. Dirty playfield, should clean up well. Powers up reliably and has a good corrosion free MPU. Note the battery with a 1987 date code. Most of you are yelling "Cut that thing off you freak!" Will do it tonight. Anyway the high score and settings are retained through power cycle so the MPU appears to be 100%. The strobe flasher works great! Backglass shows no separation anywhere, has three scratches which are shown in the pics. (The backglass pic appears dark because over half the bulbs are burned out). Only one cracked plastic I see, the big one at far left with the princess or whoever she is. The cloudy stuff wipes off (I tested it on the right slingshot) but the plastics are a bit yellowed.

All solenoids work in test except the coin lockout, I haven't investigated that. Top right flipper doesn't return to home position without help, has assorted wrong screws in the plate, may need a plate or maybe can swap with left flipper plate and use the fresh threaded holes (if someone hasn't done that already).
Appears all switches work though of course some need to be adjusted. Note the motley collection of drop targets. Two Dolly Partons! One of the three drop targets at the top is broken, and all of the drop assemblies are sluggish. Probably need cleaning and springs, but no rust that I can see.

The Squawk and Talk has a locked on LED. I replaced U11 and it powered up and worked fine. I figured I'd fixed it but I next time I powered it up the LED was locked on again, and the U11 I replaced tests good in another board. So the issue is apparently worn out IC sockets. If I were keeping it I'd change all the sockets and install a cap kit, done and done.

The back of the game looks great, no water damage anywhere. It does have one common cabinet problem I've seen on these SS Ballys: The neck under the backbox is a bit loose, probably from someone moving it without taking it apart. Backbox isn't gonna fall off but when you shove the game you can see it moves more than it should, so it should be fixed.

With some cleaning and adjustment this will be a good player's condition game. I considered getting it in shape to put in the show but I'm too busy this week.

Happy to bring to TPF. $1200 or best offer, PM me if interested, thanks.

Player's condition Elektra. Legs are kind of rusty but the rest of the game is not. No water damage. Has the original clear red flippers on mini playfield, all the colored translucent targets are there and unbroken. A couple of cracked/broken plastics but as you can see no major breaks or missing ones. Red LEDs in the three red center targets (they don't flicker). Previous owner put the nicad on long wires and mounted in bottom of backbox. I left it that way. Looks like original 5V filter cap on solenoid driver board but I've had zero reliability issues with the MPU. Some ball swirls on the mini playfield, noticeable on woman's face. I cleaned/waxed everything but didn't try melamine foam or other methods. A small chip on backglass as shown. I masked off the windows and applied three coats of Triple Thick.

Every feature lamp, solenoid, and switch works, sound is excellent, plays fast and fun. Has free play with Oliver Kaegi's modification at U6. Easy to change it back to factory if desired. Someone had installed a big green videogame button to add credits. I removed the wiring, left the button. Left bottom of backbox frame was apparently damaged, someone painted it to match, have to look to notice it. New PBR 3-prong power cord.

Will be on the floor in Texas. $1500 OBO
