Back in Chicago and recovering from the show. Was really looking forward to going Rocky Mountain and it did not disappoint. Dan, Holly, their family and their team working the show really did an amazing job. Wonderful selection of games, with a great balance of attendees to machines, worthwhile seminars, fun things happening throughout, had great buzz and energy but never felt over crowded (although a little warm at times). For Nirmal, this was his first pinball show and I think he was pretty blown away.
Really enjoyed talking with many of you when you were playing Houdini or elsewhere at the show. I know for many this was the first chance to play it and the feedback we got was great and I know at least a few of you are now awaiting delivery of a machine. Both machines were played non-stop the entire show, but hopefully everyone who wanted a chance to play got one.
I also want thank JJ and the team at Game Exchange for hosting us. When we first me with JJ and Rich they were very upfront with us that they would not allow their customers to be guinea pigs with an unproven company/machine, and that the game had to solid before they would sell it. Was great to hear from JJ, Rich and their team how happy they and their customers are with Houdini. As you have all heard me say, Quality before Quantity. At the same time, I am happy to report, as I informed folks at the show, as of a week or so ago we have finally cleared the backlog, so while I believe Game Exchanges' warehouse may now be void of Houdini, we will have more out to them shortly so for anyone who has or does order, the wait will be very short.
Somehow never got a photo with Dan and Holly, but we did manage to grab one with JJ before we left.
Again, great meeting all of you and congrats to Dan and Holly on such a great show.
