I meant to get a place and put a pinball machine in it...kinda got the order backwards. So I need to fulfill that before I can start seriously entertaining the idea of pin #2!
Play-wise, I have a loooong list of skills to learn, habits to unlearn, and aspects to improve upon in my play. I've played all my life, meaning half my style is akin to a 5y.o. with terrible hand-eye coordination. Instinct and half-baked rules knowledge won't get me too far. I gotta study up. (Regularly managing to drop and live catch falls into this category, too...I won't bore you with the miles of detail.)
I'm not setting myself many competition goals because that will only frustrate me as I continue to rework my player skills and style. I do want to attend tournaments, though! Every excuse to play pinball is one I'm taking. So far, I've got the NYC Championships and Pinburgh on my radar for sure.
