Go Hawks!

They finally unloaded Hossa's contract to Phx…..where long contracts go to expire.....too bad we had to give up Hinostroza & Oesterle.

Seems the Hawks and Pens are both going after Pacioretty .

Marc-Andre Fleury signs 3-year extension with Vegas Golden Knights

Pacioretty is a $4.5Mil cap hit...only 1 year left on his contract... seems pricey for a rent-a-player.....who knows what Bowman's got in store....

As I relax on this awesone Friday evening , burning questions about hockey invade my brain. I wonder what is your go to drink or snack when watching a game?

As the darkness of the picture hides the unholy tin devils I have already consumed , I will get off social media and focus on the water balloons I'm going to throw at my neighbour

What a joke...an equipment rash...I know it exists but that was allowed in this case. Was the inflammation noted long before or just sudden....another burning question.

Ahh... Molson.
I used to work with a guy who loved the stuff.
'Cept this guy never pronounced the letter "L".
So... his favorite beer was:
Mo'son Go'don!
Ha!!!

I still drink Moosehead for my Canadian beer

That's messed up.

I'll always remember him for this clip. Was watching that game live. RIP Ray

Has it been proven that this was untrue?

Hossa was still a great 2 way player until his 'retirement'.

How would the NHL fine itself if proven true?
Great player, gets me to think top 10 european players of all time
Lidstrom
Larionov
Selanne
Tretiak
Makarov
And couple other red army guys
Gonchar
Datsyuk

List is crazy like we'd expect from you. Let's leave Jagr & Kuri off it but Gonchar & Datsyk a lock

Perhaps that guy who just won a Cup, Conn Smythe, and 7th Rocket Richard trophy

#668 3 years ago

Yes of course ..Ovechkin and Jagr!
Pavel Bure, Salming, peter Stasney, Sedins make the cut?
Forgot about Hasek too..would take over Tretiak.
Bump off Gonchar and Makarov

Alexander Mogilny should be on that list.... 473 goals 559 assists in 990 games.

That '92 season with Moginly & Selanne each scoring 76 goals was exciting to watch.... (Super Mario had 69 goals that year).

Incidentally, about Selanne...
back in the day when my kid was just a squirt,
we used to play hockey on the
hardwood floor of our apt.
He had a handful of favorite players but most often it went like this:
"Hey dad, let's play hockey!
You be Keith Tkachuk and I'll be Teemu Salami."
Too much...

He was my favorite also, hence my screen name
