Quoted from Patentlaw:Tigerlaw,
I would recommend Kenny and Ziggy's. It is a classic New York deli that is complete. Huge menus. Eastern European. It is a little drive to get to the area that it is at, however it is highly worth it. Serving portions are absolutely huge. Prices are expensive, but it is one of the nicest things to do in the city. When the Patriots came to town, they eat at Kenny and Ziggy's. The real deal. This place is on national TV all the time. Egg cream? Got it. Real deal pickles.....check. Reuben?....fantastic. Stuffed Cabbage?....not a problem. Rotating dessert counter....got that too.

For those who want to spend more, there is a really great Brazilian Steak House. Houston Beef coupled with a Brazilian restaurant. All you can eat. About 50 a person, but very memorable. Do it one time in your life.

There are a ton of places to go on this side of the city. Houston people eat out more than any other city in America. The prices are reasonable and everything is good.

I Would recommend McDonalds and Burger King. High scale burger chains that not many people know exist.
