What: Ohio Pinball Show
When: March 30th to April 2nd
Where: Emidio's & Son's Expo Center
All,
I've never been to the Ohio show and I'm considering making the 7 hour trip this year. I'm new to the hobby and just attended my first 2 shows in 2016 which was the Allentown show(very nice with over 300 games) and the York show (enjoyed, but smaller show and less variety). The current website is being revamped for the Ohio show, however I wanted to reach out to my fellow pinsiders for some more details. I tried sifting through old threads but I can't quite figure out the show schedule since there were numerous threads about moving the show to Sundays, etc..
With 4/2 falling on a Sunday, how does this show generally flow?
Is Thursday open to the public or is that only for setting up machines and vendor setup?
How many games on average does Ohio have?
Does the auction still take place on Saturday and does it include pinball machines?
What are the tournaments like? (I've only ever played in 2 other tournaments, the Allentown tournament and the York tournament).
Any general feedback for a first timer?
Thanks in advance!
