2017 IAAPA in Orlando FL November 14-17, 2017

    Their website...
    http://www.iaapa.org/expos/iaapa-attractions-expo/exhibit-sponsor/iae-2017

This event happens annually and this year again happens the week prior to Free Play Florida.
I'll be doing reporting again from this show like other previous years on here and my youtube channel...
    https://www.youtube.com/user/904PinballZine

This show has amusement rides setup outside to try, arcade games, pinball and all other types of
related industry stuff including snacks and prizes.

The 3 big pinball manufactures will be there in same area of the convention center not too far from each other.

I'll post updates as soon as they come!

Yes! And my booth, #2200 Gold Medal, is about as close to the pinball action as possible. Yipeeeeee!

    Whats your booth about?

    *Edit*
I searched and found IAAPA page!

    http://s15.a2zinc.net/clients/iaapa/iae2017/public/eBooth.aspx?IndexInList=377&FromPage=Exhibitors.aspx&ParentBoothID=&ListByBooth=true&BoothID=189235&Nav=False&fromFeatured=1

P.S... Just by replying to this thread it helped your search request for your business, it's neat that this thread is moving up in the IAAPA searches!

IAAPA is a cool industry show.

    #7 6 years ago

I'm quite certain JJPPOTC will be there.
    I'm hyped to play it.

    #8 6 years ago

I'll be there trying to take it all in (isn't it something like 10 miles of vendor booths?). Hitting IAAPA on Thursday and Friday before heading over to Free Play Florida for the rest of the weekend.

I went for my first time last year, and it really is a ton to take in. We spent most of the day going through the building and never even really made it outside.

The exhibitors are super nice too, especially to let families come in during Thursday and Friday and check out the stuff. My kids had a fantastic time and everyone treated us really well, given that they knew we wouldn't be really buying anything that day.

    Who is headed out?

Do we have a decent amount of pinside representation there?

I’ve been going for the past 20 years, last year was the first time I didn’t attend. Planning on being there this year.

    #12 6 years ago

We will be there. We have been going on and off for 14 years now.
Really looking forward to Jersey Jack booth this year.

A few pinsiders in the industry, a few collectors, a few that go to the Free Play Florida convention. I'm the only "Pinball Press" that's there when I go hahaha.

I love IAPPA! 25 years now!
The kids, all grown, will still go, and have some of the best memories!

A vacation, trade show, and pin show in 1 week!

All the latest games, vids, food, amusements!

A must do at least once!

Art is the one who turned me on to it, and he is right. You owe it to yourself to check it out.

Morning, John!...Are you coming into town?

We sure are! I'll drop you an email here in a bit.

We aren't sure if we are hitting IAAPA this year, even though we want to. We are going to try Legoland for the first time now that Kate is more into Lego.

I did mark some time in the schedule for time with you and your family plus a visit to the parts store though.

    #18 6 years ago

    Look forward to your visit!

Maybe more guys will hit up Skycraft!

Just announced for the Orlando Free Play show, the weekend of Nov 17-19,
http://wp.freeplayflorida.com/, is Steve Ritchie as Special guest!

What makes Freeplay a great show, first is the Florida Gang!
Tons of Games and Vids, and awesome Hotel on I drive, near IAPPA!

Getting to talk with Stern can be difficult in Chicago, or a Working show, like IAPPA.
At Freeplay, it winds down, and you can find plenty of people at the Bar in the Lobby...
(Great Food!!...Korean Tacos!), ready to talk up a Pinball storm!
(Just as long as you are buying the drinks!)

Jim is loading up the Pre War Pin booth, so much to see and do!

If you are bringing your family, needless to say, Orlando has everything, including New
Coasters, Avatar Land, and Volcano Bay just opened.

Yes, a shameless plug for our local show....but well worth it, as the Holidays kick in!

    #19 6 years ago

Plus I get to talk to OLDPINGUY which was the highlight of last year's IAAPA for me.

They are making it really hard not to stop by IAAPA this year.

I really want to try Guardians and JJP POTC.

If you didn't see footage in the other IAAPA 2017 thread that was made haha,
here is HD footage I took of a PRO version today on a tripod of Guardians of the Galaxy...

    #30 6 years ago

Zombie Pitch and Bat was neat...

It's kind of a light machine.
Has a coil in the cabinet near the bat coil for some recoil feel. I think could earn on location.

The company I work for, Player One Amusement Group, has a Guardians Of The Galaxy in their booth as well. Booth 806

What software version are the GOTG games at IAAPA running? Maybe 0.6 or 0.7? It would be helpful to see how complete their vision is so far.
