The Houston Area Arcade Group (HAAG) is holding their 16th Annual Arcade Expo on October 20th & 21th at the Houston Northwest Crowne Plaza at Pinemont and Hwy 290.

There will be over 230 classic and current coin-op pinball machines, video arcade games, penny arcades, and console video games ready for attendees to play on free play or buy them for their home.

There will be Tournaments, events, music and workshops to keep the young and young at heart entertained.

Hotel parking lot Game Swap meet!! Bring your Arcade, Pinball, Console Stuff to swap and sell! Saturday the 21st @ 8am to noon, you can bring as much as you want for free!

Heighway pinball cancelled on us last year at the last minute.

Joystix http://www.joystixamusements.com/ is our local distributor here in Houston, who happens to be a Stern, JJP, CGC, and now an American Pinball distributor. So we have a good chance to have some of the newest games released this year.

Sorry guys. We heard from Dirty Donny over the weekend that he will not be attending the show.

I never recall food trucks at this show. There is a really good BBQ place in easy walking distance.

I seem to recall some people getting a hamburger in the hotel bar area. Not sure what else is available there.

We should have a good amount of ColorDMDs on display at the show. I'm looking forward to playing Apollo 13 to see how that one turned out in color. I'm not much of a fan of WCS94 (in the tournament), but I will be looking at it to see how good it is in color.

Others I snapped with a ColorDMD installed. WCS94 had a beta test file installed. Some updates are being made before it actually gets released. 20171020_103409 (resized).jpg20171020_182151 (resized).jpg 20171020_120120 (resized).jpg 20171020_140226 (resized).jpgI installed a LED Sigma in the Breakshot for a friend since his regular DMD was busted. I can't wait to see it in full color.

The venue has not been changed in many years. Next year might be at a new venue.

Thank you Spraynard for all the work you did to keep the tournament running. Seems everyone had a great time. Are you up for doing it next year?
